You were able to make it to the Ro4. How do you feel?
This is my first ever OSL Ro4. In the beginning, I didn't even think I would be able to make it this far. I am so happy that I was able to make it like this. Now not only do I want to make it to the finals, but I desire to win the championship.
While it was important that you won today, it was even more impressive what you went through to get it today. (스스로 점수를 메긴다면?)
For the first two games, I went for double cc plays as I matches my opponent's style while trying to harass him. I had a good win ratio with this strategy during my practices so I felt confident. But then he blocked it two games in a row so mentally I was really shaken up. But then I tried my hardest to just remain calm for game three. After game three, the rest of the games went my way and Flash played the way I wanted him to so I was able to win. In game two, you lost to a comeback.
Even though I had such an advantage, Flash was able to put himself in a great position. I also had no idea he was gathering that many vikings. The biggest reason why I lost that game was because of my own mistakes. While you were down 0-2, you decided to do a proxy rax build in to a starport transition.
When I saw who I would be facing in the Ro8, that strategy was something I already decided I would do for Antiga Shipyard. I didn't hesitate for a second. I had the confidence I needed to know I would win no matter what. In game four, you gave up your 9'o clock position and gave him an advantage.
I was looking at the late game in the long run so I canceled my buildings beforehand. But then, that decision became my downfall in the end. But I had a lot of siege tanks so I thought I would be fine for now. When it was tied at 2-2, did you feel like you were going to win?
Since I had dissected Flash's style through the first four games, I decided to reject Flash's starport play for game five. I decided to harass him through aggression and it worked out well.
You took down a ton of really great players to get this far. What have you learned?
I am adapting to the televised match atmosphere really well. I'm also learning how to switch up strategies and builds depending on the situation rather than just going for an all in whenever I am in a disadvantageous situation. In the Ro4, you will face By.Sun.
Of all the Protosses around right now, I believe he is the best player. I already know this isn't going to be easy. But I do know that I'm going to be the victor. Do you think you'll be able to hit By.Sun where it hurts?
For now, I know that By.Sun is an excellent player. The preparation I have to undergo to face him won't be easy. The Ro4 will be the most concerning. As of right now, I don't really have a specific tactic in my mind that will allow me to grab the victory. I'm just going to have to prepare extensively. You are a Royal Road candidate.
Ever since my appearance in the Ro16, I knew I was a candidate for the Royal Road. Honestly, I really didn't care about it back then. But now that I've made it this far, it is something I absolutely must achieve. Anything else you would like to say?
Classic hyung told me that I should absolutely mention that he helped me in the interview (laughs). I want to thank him for his help. Lastly, I want to let my teammates know that I am anxiously waiting to hear from them about what happened regarding MLG.

Can't believe he beat flash after he was one game away from losing the series. Incredible!

how Korean Air OSL-esque of Flash

I always admire players/sportsmen who can turn around a whole series even tho he was one game away from losing.

proxy-banshee'ing to the win but nonetheless very well done. Congrats to him. Has there actually ever been a Royal Roader in SCII?

Needless to say, furniture was fucked thoroughly.

Well this is the first SCII OSL so it would be impossible. If you mean whether anyone has actually won code S the first time they are in it, then no (excepting the obvious case of Mvp winning the first code S). Jjakji, MMA and Seed all won on their second try if I recall correctly.
I'm a bit sad that flash lost, he really seemed to be the better player, but kinda fell apart near the end. Gives flashbacks to Effort vs Flash which was the first series that actually made me sad for several days. I still dislike effort for unjustly denying Flash his rightful golden mouse after lucking out in tiebreakers (logically I know Effort isn't to blame, but emotionally I still dislike him for it).

Are there vods for this match? I thought the english ones were behind a pay wall, but what about the korean ones?

Really outstanding preparation from Last here, he outthought Flash in all 5 of the games (even though Flash somehow managed to win the first 2 despite this).

Probably just means that his team mates in that online cup thing were playing their games while he was competing today or something
