Seems like there is a huge buzz about Flash and other BW players switching over to SC2. I was surfing on DAUM, and found this picture:
This picture was taken from the new Team 8 house, and it seems like that the player on the far right is rank 3 in masters. Judging by his appearance and the fact that he selected Terran, I am quite sure this is BaBy.
It is rumored that some BW players are already in GM, and players such as firebathero and Neo.G_Soulkey are showing remarkable skill in SC2.
Considering how late they got their accounts (most likely) I don't think a high rank in their division means much. Each division is made up of 80 (I think) players, and while it's cool that he's rank 3, he probably isn't the same division as a lot of the really high point players. Rank 1 in one division might be something like an 1800 rating and rank 10 in another might be a 2500 rating. A lot of foreigners who play Korea are talking shit about FBH being pretty bad (lastshadow I think even said he played flash and he wasn't that good). They haven't been playing long, though. Despite mechanical skill, it will take awhile to gain enough knowledge not to die to all the crazy cheeses on Korea and make good decisions with their early game.
I find it amazing how they can reach masters easily, especially considering that some people tried without avail despite playing full-time. Obviously, this shows how talented these players are (not that I expected otherwise).

Lastshadow was the only one saying that FBH was bad... and someone said they saw him play FBH on stream and that FBH smashed him that game....whether or not that is all true of course is a whole nother story, plus one game means nothing but still. I'd say with hold judgement until we actually see them play in a tournament/proleague setting.
The fact that they, in what a month or two have gotten to mid/high masters in KR is kind of impressive though. I look forward to seeing which ones can really kick ass in a couple more months with real practice/training.

Even if they say that Flash, FBH, etc aren't that good. They should remember that they have been playing for less than a month Seriously while LS and other doubters have been playing for so long. And that BW pros are also practicing BW at the same time, so double the stress and effort
all of team 8 started exclusive practice of sc2 after the season was done since they were eliminated. And briefly returned to bw when helping skt practice for grand final.
So baby and rest of team 8 is a bit more ahead that KT and SKT, and presumably the other playoff teams.

They were practicing even shortly after the Team was funded. Thus explaining their unadequacy for showing results because their focus have been diluted.
