- Your thoughts on getting into code S?
I am happy that I finally made it. Although it feels unfair that there was a code A wildcard spot for a round of 16 this time because when I made the round of 16 the last two times there wasn’t anything like that.

- You got through with 4 wins to advance.
I didn’t know that I would do that. The first two matches were against protoss, and I knew that as long as I played well in those, it would be ok. So I mainly focused on preparing for those games but all the games went well.

- Does that mean you are confident in your TvT?
The ladder is full of terrans so if you ladder you don’t really need extra practice against them.

- You were successful in taking your revenge against Tassadar.
Back then since I had already made it to the round of 8 and secured my up and down spot I did not practice as much as I should have. After practicing a bit more for today, it seems like he wasn’t a match for me.

- The hardest match?
I don’t think there was a specific one, but if I had to say, the game against sC was a bit difficult. Because I am good friends with him, even after I won, I felt sorry rather than happy about the win.

- Tomorrow, your teammate Keen will be trying to advance from his up and down group.
I believe that Keen has enough skills to keep his code S spot and DongRaeGu is practicing hard to win at the MLG so I believe he can make it to code S as well.

- Any players you want to face in code S?
I will focus on the players I have in front of me, but for now, I don’t have anyone in particular I want to face.

- Your goal in code S?
I want to keep my spot in code S and eventually take the championship. I want to at least keep my spot, and at most, win the whole thing.

- Any last comments?
I want to thank my team’s Genius, NalZa, finale, Vampire, and StarTale’s Parting for helping me practice. The coach just got a baby daughter yesterday, so I hope that everyone can congratulate him.

- Your thoughts on making it into code S?
I am happy that I was able to go straight into code S instead of dwelling in code A. I will work even harder in code S so that I can finally get to the finals stage that I have always wanted.

- You must have wanted to advance together with your teammate sC.
sC and I had the very first match. We told each other that whoever won between us would try to go for 4 wins. But I lost my last match so it didn’t go as planned.

- How did you feel after the groups were announced?
Since it is a tournament, there is nothing you can do about it. For my match against sC I didn’t practice anything special but just used my base skills.

- The game against Noblesse must have been disappointing.
I thought that he would be going mech but he ended up going bio which in turn made me work against myself.

- You must be very confident in your TvT.
If anyone went mech, my feeling was that I will win no matter what. But I didn’t get a chance to practice much against bio.

- Were you disappointed to not win code A?
It was disappointing, but I did not want to miss out on the chance at getting through the up and down matches. I have been practicing a lot since then and I believe I got these results because of that.

- You still have not shown us your TvZ.
I hope that either LosirA or NesTea will decide to pick me in their groups in code S.

- Any reasons?
Those two are whom most people consider to be the strongest zergs. I want to beat them during a broadcasted match. I am confident.

- Has anything changed since your team joined FXO?.
We have been practicing a lot with foreign players. Since they are so creative, we still learn a lot from practice. I think we both benefit a lot from playing each other.

- Your teammate Leenock will have his matches tomorrow.
I believe that Leenock will advance no matter what. Also, our team has been preparing nonstop for the upcoming preliminaries so expect good results from our team.

- Any last comments?
Crane and Inori really helped me with practice against protosses. I want to thank them both. sC must be disappointed to fall into code A but I hope he doesn’t lose heart and gets right back into code S the next season.
