Jinro is the second coming of Buddha and he's going to win GSL Open S3 so there is no real point in discussing that. After watching all of his games, however, and comparing his performances to the other players, I think I have figured out his secret tech that allows him to flourish where Ret and Idra have faltered.
It's his square jaw and jutting, manly chin. Asians all have girly chins and they instinctively cower in terror in the presence of a masculine chin the likes of Jinro's. Have you ever noticed the GSL doesn't have booth girls like the BW leagues do? That's because the sheer amount of testosterone generated by Jinro's chin would cause them to swoon in ecstasy. Jinro is not only a Manly Man he's a Gentle Man and he personally requested no booth girls so as not to cause them any potential harm when they faint to the ground in his presence. He could only catch 10, maybe 12 at once, and he doesn't want the one he missed to weigh heavily on his conscience.
Anyway, I believe if Jinro changes his nickname to highlight one of his best assets, he will be nigh unbeatable. With any luck, Season 4 will feature a 1v3 finals with Jinro taking on the rest of the top four simultaneously and winning handily. (Or should I say chinnily?)
Sorry I won't remake the poll again but here are some great suggestions from the thread: Chinzilla, JayLeno, Chinroll, Chinrolled, ChinOfOneWay, chiNcontrol, ChinDealer, ReaChin
I dont think they dont have booth-babes becouse of the fear of fainting, I think it´s more about how Jinro is so potent that any female that is 100 metres or less from him run the risk of getting pregnant.
I want him to write a blog about how it feels to win MLG and succeed in GSL. He is the only one who was active in TL forums, he was one of us. Made our/his dream become reality. My quote explains it better.

Mad props to whoever made this.
Also it would allow us to post pictures of gorillas wearing beanies.
That's totally badass. I hope that gets made in to a physical cheerful.

Lol I remember a guy was warned for posting a photo of a Gorilla regarding Jinro's win...
Ironic thing is that Chinese SC2 fans call him "Gorilla" as his nickname.
Along with TheRock from SC1 Jinro also brands the nickname of "Gorilla" by chinese SC2 fans.
Its obvious that his power lies in the chin, just like his Korean doppelganger Stats. I don't think the world will be able to handle the two great chins ever meeting in competition.
I would suggest something brand new. Not Chinro, but ChinChillah, adding the h. Day9 has already talked about how nice/how chill of a person that Jinro is.
Thus, the Chillah possessing the Chin -----> ChinChillah.
Like all great players, Jinro dreams of becoming renown for his excellent play and physical abnormalities. Well baby, here's to making dreams come true...
To be quite honest if you wanted something that positively wreaks of manliness and would make them girly Koreans flee in fear I would go for chiNcontrol.
Now that kind of names implies levels of testosterone you would expect from the offspring of Chuck Norris and a grizzly bear.

Hahaha, I came here to say that.
He's one of the very few terrans in this GSL playing terran like a man. None of this childish 2-rax-sendallmyscvslol crap for Chinro.
I like what someone else said earlier about how Jinro was a huge part of TL, he's one of us that's living the dream. I've only been lurking here for 3 years or so, but I feel ashamed now for not pulling for FrozenArbiter more when he first went to Korea.
Jinro is pretty much completely awesome in every way, (wish he was American though)
This thread is pretty funny, and I don't think he has time to read it, but if he does I hope he takes it light hearted, and good luck in your match soon.
TBH too many sc chin jokes, we need to find something new for this foreign gosu. Chinro from Jinro just happens to work, but I really think we can do better.
I wonder which accessory is more valuable to their respective success: Jinro's beanie or Huk's hoodie. Or pillow. Or Idra's glasses. InControl's muscles. These things should all be auctioned off for charity some day (yes, including incontrol's muscles.)

Alas I missed the true glory days. Oh to have been around when classics like this and Nada’s Body were contemporary threads...

Which is odd. In my head that is still "new" TL. All a matter of perspective! FYI you hit your 10 year mark just a couple months ago! So I would say you were around for a lot of the good stuff too, Mr. user #77713 (for perspective, TL is just over 540,000 users).

Oh dear lord. Come sit by the fire child and I shall tell you tales of the before-times! Alas I played the shit out of Starcraft when it came out but didn’t really use the internet for much browsing. Was WC3 and WC3Replays where I became a forum poster (some posts like a petition to balance Destroyers being gloriously embarrassing to look at now). If I’d been aware of TL and competitive BW I think I would have lapped that up!
Any other interesting stats you wizards have on me? I’m a sucker for that stuff. Was news to me I’d been here a decade, and a fine decade it has been.

The Jinro/Idra mini-rivalry was a very memorable part of this little era as well. It's hard to imagine that, in fact, both of them, even moreso Jinro, actually spent very little time as progamers before moving on. It felt like such an important time for the game, but that was all within the span of a year.
TL should sponsor some sort of "bringing 'em back" tourney. Even if none of those guys play anymore, it would be fun to see them throw out some random games and be interviewed.

Shoot mine should be coming up really soon if it hasn't already passed. How do I check? NVM found it. Mine is August of next year. I knew it was in summer.

This would honestly be amazing to see. Perhaps we'd get some casters participating as players too.

The game is the best its ever been right now and the scene is arguably superior too. What other game has something as beautiful and long-lived as the GSL?

It's definitely a different time. I haven't followed the scene since 2013 until very recently and I am surprised about the high level of play watching the last two GSL's and Dreamhacks. Back in the day it was the dream of lots of people on this site to have a foreigner go toe to toe with Koreans and now arguably the best SC2 player right now is a foreigner. Also back in the day there seemed to be a divide between the two scenes and now every week I watch tournaments with tons of Koreans Pros and Foreign Pros.
Still miss 2010-2012 though, the game was so big back then and personalities seemed to be equally big. Miss it but wouldn't want to go back.

Merci oh most evil of Teletubbies. Although they are all inherently evil beings trying to brainwash the youth through the televisual medium.
