Think about all the expenses your parents paid for you: free housing, free food, clothes, schooling, medical bills, entertainment. Then add in whatever you think is fair for, you know, giving you your life. Is 80k really that much? And by the way, that's a lot of assumptions you made there, based solely on the fact that he's asian. My mom would be horrified if I even mention the idea of giving her money. Anyway, I think Cool's mom just wanted to keep the money until he's married (to prevent him from going in a speeding spree maybe). More on the topic: FruitDealer is such a great winner for this GSL, the guy is very friendly and has played so well. I hope we see plenty more of him in the futur. GO FruitDealer.

![]() Being Asian myself, I can relate to the money issue. I think there is a confusion with westerners regarding the money. Even though Cool gave all his money to his parents, it's still his or specifically belonging to the family including him & his parents. One person's success in the family is everyone's success. I hope that clears up the money issue.

[B] Q: So you think that Zerg still needs a buff, even after winning the tournament? A: It's shameless, I know, but I still think ZvP is hard (laughs). Since I beat a Terran in the finals, I'm confident against T, but I still think vsP is tough and needs some adjustments. At least he knows...

Korea isn't some third world country. $85K in Korea spends like $60-70K in terms of actual buying power than $85K in US. You live in Seoul, world's 3rd largest cosmopolitan metropolis (tied for NYC), $60K spends like nothing.
