I'm convinced after two years of seeing it pointed out Apparently it's the way the Bucks sag on drives to protect the paint, which gets exploited in the playoffs for wide-open threes. It works in the regular season because teams don't have as much time to gameplan specifically for them, and also because they leave the poor shooters open. Good teams on the playoffs have more decent shooters, and also design plays to get their better shooters open against the scheme. I remember starting this same discussion here a few weeks back. My biggest concern is they are vulnerable to a good 3-pt shooting team, and Miami is one of the best in the league this season. They go out of their way to protect the paint and leave the poorest shooters open. And you are right. There are ways for those poor shooters to get their better teammates open.

Butler's 3 pointer has returned. I guess the hiatus did him some good. Gasol was 5/27 from 3 and 39% over all. Centers should have one of the highest 2 point shooting percentages on the team...

I was watching that series and I thought Boston had the best players quite clearly and it looked like they were winning most of the time, but still Toronto hung in for so long. I don't understand how they managed to do that. If Siakam had shown up they probably would have won too. Great series anyway. Nurse is a great coach and Lowry is just a beast and looks like a really good leader. I feel that over all Toronto as a team is much better than the sum of all the parts. You could easily see another coach and another organisation having those players and not getting those results imo.

ok then ... who is Kelly Leake? NBA ratings in Canada continue to improve... https://www.si.com/nba/raptors/news/toronto-raptors-tv-ratings-second-round-boston-celtics-game-7 I wonder if these kinds of ratings will spark a bidding war for the Raptors TV rights?

As far as BO7 series comebacks go .... The 1985 Kansas City Royals came back from down 3-1 twice to win the World Series.
