It looks like several teams in the Eastern Conference will be killing themselves in order to qualify for losing to the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. On February 21 2020 16:00 Twinkle Toes wrote: But dont you have great health coverage in Canada? 67% of all health coverage is government run. 33% is not covered by the government and you have to pay for it yourself or get private insurance. long off topic diatribe. + Show Spoiler + Dental, Physiotherapy, VIsion, Hearing , most drugs are NOT covered by the government. When I lived in Canada I paid ~ $1200 per year for extended medical benefits. I got a bit of a deal because one of my customers offers extended medical benefit packages to companies with less than 500 employees. The private sector portion of Canada's system is excellent. It's a great system and better than the USA's private system. Generally speaking, for all forms of Insurance Canada is better run , better organized and less corrupt than the USA. This has been true for the entire history of the insurance industry in North America. One of my customers is an Actuary and runs a Casualty Actuarial Consulting firm.. this is how I find out all this crap about insurance. I moved from St. Catherines, Ontario , Canada to Cheektowaga, New York 18 months ago. Currently, my US Health coverage is with Aetna. I'm happy with it, but it is expensive. For sports injuries I still go to the same Sports Injury clinic in Canada I went to before moving to the USA. I will probably switch to my gfs preferred Sports Medicine Clinic in New York this year though. On February 22 2020 01:34 JimmiC wrote: Untrue. I don't think you know enough about Ontario and OHIP to make this kind of broad sweeping generalization about the entire country. I've had Canadian coverage via OHIP and comprehensive US coverage via Aetna. OHIP/Ontario was way better than New York state 15 years ago. Now, I'd say Ontario is somewhat to slightly better and Ontario is declining pretty quickly. People in Ontario, Canada go to New York state all the time and pay cash to get medical procedures done because of backlogs in Ontario. Here is 1 example. + Show Spoiler + For example, many Ontarians pay for an MRI out of their own pockets and driver to Buffalo New York to have it done. If they didn't do this they'd walk around for a year with torn knee ligaments and be forced to wear a knee brace. Generally, Ontario is still better than New York. However, it varies on a case by case basis. In some situations New York is better. And, in the USA you can spend your way out of any issue. Ontarians spend their way out of bottlenecks in the system by driving the Buffalo New York and getting it done there. Buffalo MRI is a favourite spot for Torontonians to go for their MRI http://buffalomri.com/ This is just 1 example .. there are many others. But tbh, couldnt have happened to a more deserving guy (not the injury, but the career, ehm. progression). Dude is cancer, overinflated ego, and practically a douche. I hope someone on r/nba makes a lakers highlight of him similar to thomas with the cavs.

Yes people who have lots of money have no problem in Canada or the US. And those that want it done fast but less expensive or experimental can head all over. That is not a counter to my point or too the point of the doctor in the video. And in alberta and other locations in Canada you can also pay private clinics for extra or faster care.

In other news, I need to move to Memphis next year, and I'll need about $11,500 to do it. Thanks for your generosity.

EDIT: Speaking of injuries... Jeremy Lamb hit the injury trifecta ... meniscus tear, knee ligament tear, fracture. Really bad landing. Hopefully, Dr. Sutterer will cover this one in detail. The Raptors play a rough style with their "defensive hustle" ...and hurt a lot of guys.. and they get hurt themselves as well.
