And after shooting 0-9 from three in game 5, he's still at 40% for the series. That's still a pretty good mark.
Now, for the Celtics, if they do come back and win games 6-7, I don't see any front runner from them for Finals MVP. It's going to depend on who steps up for those two games. They do seem to be the deeper team but nobody has consistently showed up and played well. If they come back and win two games, you (and also all of us) WILL see a Celtic front runner for Finals MVP.

Andrew Wiggins, NBA champion and he was their second best player.
GSW 2022 Champs.

Kyrie or KD could have been a champion this year if they stayed with their teams :')
grats Warriors and Steph

What a team... Yeah Curry had a great night but Wiggins, Poole, Looney... such a solid roster.

Klay should be more like his old self, Curry is not slowing down, Wiggins in his prime, Dray's game seems to age pretty well. And Wiseman and Kuminga should be factors. They looked poised to go again.
Of course there will be challengers but I'd put my early money on them.

They've been reclaiming a Shaqtin a Fool star for almost every one of their rings. I think he started a few games too.
They're not as good as they used to be but there are no truly elite teams in the NBA recently so it should be more wide open. They are competitive and should still be able to compete for multiple years especially if any of their rookies develop into a star.
Wiggins finally stuffing the stat sheet on occasion too. He was one of the worst at rebounding for his height with the T-Wolves. He pulled down 16 and 13 in games 4 and 5. He had 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks in game 6.

I think hes gotten better, but I also think he is getting actual leadership, which has upped his confidence big time, and playing in games that matter.
If I was a veteran looking to reclaim my career, win that would be the spot. It also looks like good dudes who have fun, which would make going to work more fun.
I agree with you, Den should be back with Murray and porter jr. Dal will be in there, wood a great pick up. Suns still good who knows their plan with aynton. Jazz might blow it up, Lakers who knows, clips could be solid if healthy.
GSW have the developement of their youth or could trade them and then how much better is Klay after year 2 and can they stay heathy?
Should be fun, I way prefer basketball without super teams.

Draft is tonight. Top 3 projected picks are 6'10ish players who can play like wings, so their ceiling is like a Durant or Davis type I guess.

Some minorish trades and a surprise at the top. Not bad, not a great watch. Kendrick perkins comparisons were funny for how bad they were. Be interesting to see how the game continues to evolve with more super skinny tall guys who can score from everywhere!
|
Tall wings are now the rage everywhere. Plenty of players were skinny coming out of college and bulked up in the NBA (Jordan, Kobe, Garnett, Steph, Durant). Even Shaq and Barkley, relatively of course.
|
They are not the first, but now it is like all of them are like that, and this crew is especially thing especially Chet, 7 feet tall 195 is skinny!
|
With the pace of the game nowadays, the slower, bulkier centers might collapse from exhaustion. Back in the 1980s when the pace was fast, players had the builds of marathon runners instead of wrestlers too.

Murray to the hawks for firsts and gallanri. Spicy
