Important Eastern Conference show down tomorrow night as Boston plays Toronto on the Night of January 16th. On January 15 2019 14:31 Disregard wrote: KYRIE'S LEAVING Here is that "Kyrie's Leaving" chant. https://streamable.com/r72br the game ended up having a pretty tense final 3 minutes.

Like, it's more likely for the Cavs to NOT get the number 1 pick, every team has low odds of having a given spot in the draft (obviously some much lower than others), so why bother placing them in the ranking? Look at the insane variance of any ordering: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_draft_lottery#Process. I just don't see the point in talking about teams (let alone basing your mock draft picks on who will get to pick :D). Am I missing something? Edit: It's more likely that one of teams between 8 and 14 (in order of odds) to get the number 1 pick than specifically the Cavs. i think its cause its a mock DRAFT. if you have no teams, its just a players ranking. and actually having teams would allow them to talk about needs/fits etc.

Outside of drafting a second guy under 6'2'' when you already have a "star" under 6'2'' I don't think there is any reason not to take best available. Even if you had Embiid, if the best guy was 6'11'' why not take him? Everybody gotta shoot 3s anyways.

You don't want multiple players who aren't good off the ball, lacking in defense or not good at outside shooting. Sixers are actually having fit issues because Ben Simmons can't shoot jumpers and Embiid is not very accurate either. The problem I think you are describing is not that they are a bad fit, but rather neither is a good fit in the modern NBA as the top player on a top team (yet). Sure, you can be so overwhelmingly great that you are still worthwhile. LeBron 2007 is the perfect example. He is/was so good that you want him regardless, but he's never been (although greatly improved in the post-Miami years) a good fit on any team. Being a bad shooter is never good because it means your supporting cast is either going to be super expensive (hard to get 3&D guys for under $20 mil) or shitty at defense.

76ers have a 40 point lead and the philly fans are boo-ing jerryd bayless... LOL. i've been to a few Philadelphia Phillies games and the 90 lb, 5 feet tall, 85 year old ladies are tougher than me. and these women remember bad decisions by the manager in the 1993 world series and talk about it like it was yesterday.

I mean, this is just another example of being so good you "not fitting" doesn't matter much. Still, its entirely possible that playoff defenses are gonna shut that down just like they did to early Lebron. TBD

TBD Yeah, I just think it is crazy that he is at the numbers of dunks per game that shaq was at in most dunking season. And he seems to get better every year he is a marvel.
