EDIT: Wile E. Coyote has nothing on Kyle Lowry. Shortly after taking an elbow to the eye he stands in the way of 2 different 6'7"+ tall guys driving to the basket. One was called offensive charging and the other was a no-call and a missed lay up.

Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman projected him to go No. 1 overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers in his most recent mock draft. I still don't understand why mock drafts bother mentioning teams. Like, it's more likely for the Cavs to NOT get the number 1 pick, every team has low odds of having a given spot in the draft (obviously some much lower than others), so why bother placing them in the ranking? Look at the insane variance of any ordering: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_draft_lottery#Process. I just don't see the point in talking about teams (let alone basing your mock draft picks on who will get to pick :D). Am I missing something? Edit: It's more likely that one of teams between 8 and 14 (in order of odds) to get the number 1 pick than specifically the Cavs.

Half the time they just randomly change players because otherwise why would someone read the "new" mock draft. I wouldn't think Gm's do mock drafts but rather just have player rankings.
