previous posts: + Show Spoiler + Fuck that, Diaz vs Mcgregor would be a amazing fight. Super entertaining and nothign but pride on the line. If it was for a title it would be silly but why not. If mcgregor wins the legend continues if he loses he goes back to featherweight, no harm no foul. And we the fans get the glory of watching two guys have a great fight and chat at the same time! + Show Spoiler + And others feel the opposite, it's too bad that talking is more important than fighting. I'm hoping for the edgar fight, he has basically cleaned out the division and he's a action fighter I would love to see him get that shot. I think McGoat loses either fight so he is better to fight DosAnjos so he can just talk about size when he loses. For hype he should have just faught nate Diaz, he probably wins, it gets HUGE ratings and he still has either championship fight open to him As for Nate in welter weight he as 2-2 he came up even though he is not a large light weight (tall but not thick) People thought he was crazy, then he DESTROYED Markham and Davis. He got the step up in competition to Dong Hyun Kim and was smothered in losing a boring decision with basically no damage. He then Took on Rory Macdonald who looked twice his size and brutalized him for 3 rounds. This is a great test for Mcgoat because Diaz will bring it. He is a light weight contender and they will be the same size. The 170 weight class has everything to do with Diaz not having to cut drastically with the fight so short out. And should bring the best out of both with no drain from the cut. Diaz is a total action fighter with tons of bonus's and only been stopped once. This fight is basically my wet dream I'm so pumped! I'm most excited about the trashtalk and seeing if Nate can eat McGregors strikes without going to sleep. Also seeing how Conor looks at WW is pretty interesting too.

The WW angle is kinda silly to me since you are seeing him fight a LW at WW. If it was McGoat vs Damian Maia or some other WW then I would find that interesting. This has everything to do with short notice and nothing to do with size.

Dana announced on ESPN SportsCenter that Edgar and Aldo turned down this fight. It'll be hard for them to whine about Conor getting special treatment when they turn down a shot at him. Its kinda BS that Dana is pressuring Aldo this soon after getting knocked out cold. As an example to back my point.. whatever happened to Lyoto Machida.. he took too many fights to close to a recent KO and is not the same guy any more. Or as McG says.. once the chin goes.. its gone forever.

Edgar at least responded with the MRI of his TORN groin. He can't fight right now and is very torn up about it as he desperately wanted the fight.

Dana was very specific about mentioning Edgar and Aldo turning down the fight. Dana knows he is on SportsCenter and knows the profile he has on US National Cable TV. He doesn't just randomly mumble bullshit... he says stuff for a reason. Dana will now use UFC196 against them in subsequent negotiations...bank on it. The next time a reporter asks him when Edgar will get his title shot ... you can count on Dana saying... "well he had a shot at McG at UFC 196 and turned it down".

But when you don't read the first post and then read the second just looking for a stupid argument. Anyways you sucked me in again. They really need a mute function I so wish you were banned from this thread too. The NHL one got soooo much better after you were canned.

ZZzzzz... i've watched about 10 minutes of the NHL this year. apparently CM Punk is combining NHL and UFC training. https://www.nhl.com/news/cm-punk-mixes-love-for-hockey-with-ufc-training/c-799026 we'll see how far this 1337 NHL training takes him in the octogon. personally , i think its time to pull the plug on the CM Punk thing. the guy is gonna be 40 by the time he makes his UFC debut. John Kavanagh is conitinuing the narrative that Aldo and Edgar are ducking McG with the quote from both fighters that they'd take on McG any time any where. http://www.the42.ie/john-kavanagh-column-24-february-2016-2621429-Feb2016/?utm_source=twitter_self "I did find it somewhat interesting, however, that Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar both turned it down. I seem to recall them insisting quite recently that they were willing to fight Conor `any time and any place`. Obviously they forgot to mention that 5 March in Las Vegas was an exception."

Sanchez and florian faught for the middle weight ultimate fighter 1 winner! Most of the recent champs that have been dominant have been very large compared to their opponents in their given weight class. Jones, Silva, Georges, also, Franklin, even McGregor at feather weight. That's why it McGregor can win the lightweight title it will be so impressive and if he wins WW he would really be the GOAT. Size matters so much in fighting Esspecially high levels where skills are so close. I wish they would weigh in on way to cage that would be so interesting

Ronda says she is "still undefeated". Holly is asked for a response. She looks like the cat that swallowed the canary as she holds back a giant smile in an attempt to be diplomatic.
