Lets test some changes and see how the patch looks in competition! We will run with whichever version of the PTR is live at the time of each portion of the event. Should the PTR be taken down before the event concludes we will either try and complete the event on a mod replicating the changes or find another solution! Event will be a 10 player tournament with two 5 player round robin groups into a single-elimination playoff bracket. Pretty excited for this, as much as not much regular tournament action is at the minute, the silver lining is that it does free pros up to really experiment with the PTR
Cheers Wardi!
PS any takers for a bet? Im happy to throw some money down on a Protoss not winning this tournament :p

I meeeean, the new maps look pretty okay for blink, it might counter the problems of the patch if the terran is already dead. I don't think I want to bet with you but I'm not certain they can't win

MaxPax 3-0'd Clem in the finals of the latest KSR (played on PTR), so maybe you guys should reconsider your bets

Byun also 3-0 Clem in the final of PiGosaur Cup, it might be just the map having a bigger impact than we all think.

Amphion has 40% PvT. Crimson Court has 69% TvZ. Dynasty has 65% TvZ. Ghost River has 58% ZvP.
I hope there's a new ladder pool soon.

So far so good. Clem beeing up 4:0 to be expected. Solar vs Showtime was for me a 50:50 and both winning vs Mana and Ryung seems right, too

I’m just impressed Trap apparently beat someone 99-0 in qualifiers
I’m a bit surprised there’s not a few more big hitters in this, just given the absence of other tournies at present

gotta make sure the better player advances, you don't want someone to advance out of luck or dirty cheese!

lookout for daylight savings, starting in about 11 hours from this comment (TL's dynamic countdown doesn't seem to take daylight savings into account), also Showtime vs Byun is first, Trap vs Solar after that
