Kaizi really need to win this week to get some better seeding into the playoff, they probably wont miss out but its an impossible task to climb up from seed 6/7 all the way to top 3 only to play Onsyde and DPG for the championship.

Well the playoff is All Kill Format, so an on point Reynor could absolutly hard carry there.
But with his mediocre trak record in the league that seems rather unlikly

Huge, huge upset from SSLT, even a point is going to be huge for their survival. This almost certainly ensures it.

The expectations for todays matches where quite similar, but we got one 6-0 sweep and an ace match instead

It's a shame Nightmare could not steal a map, but GP at least limit the damage on their map scores. They would probably love for the Ducks to take a few maps against TL.
Edit: Vindicta also a map away from changing the fate of the TL-GP race. In the end though, fairly good week for GP. TL get within 2 points, but they hold the map score to +10

GP (11pts) now needs to:
- Win SSLT without Ace (a bit challenging)
- Playoff deciding match vs GGG
TL (9pts) needs to:
- Win SSLT without ace (not so easy)
- Crush the IG oldies (should be trivial)
- Playoff deciding match vs psis
I think GP will have a much harder time against SSLT, all of their players have a pretty good chance to go down 0-2 against firefly, but the same cannot be said for TL. Both teams will play KZ and if KZ fucks up they will be in trouble as well

Time control of the Libs seige is just HORRIBLE, like he zone out nothing, pressure nothing on the heavy Toss ground army. Kaizi is in some real shit now.

Well KZ did their first fuck up, next week will be super interesting now.
If TL can get the win against them (mabye find a Clem-Reynor?) and GP beat SSLT, their road to the playoff become kind of slim.

I bet they miss solar now.
KZ's current lineup really depends on Reynor to get 2-0s. TIME sometimes plays well but his performance fluctuates a lot, and you mostly only count on Spirit to hold his ground.

So here is how I view the other situation: Onsyde and DPG will fight next round for the No.1 seed, would be fun because we can have all 3 mirror matchup or none at all. AX, PsiStorm and SR will fight for the No.3 seed with matches against each other.
I havent seen Ryung play for GP since week 1, so not even sure if hes still on the team. But they still play very well and can get 4-6pts vs SSLT and GGG. Kaizi is still in an okay position if they can get the whole 6pts vs GP and IG. TL should also get 5-6pts vs SSLT and IG.
And then it would come down to the direct result between Kaizi and GP/TL, personally I still think Kaizi will beat GP convincingly, but it would be tought against TL because Elazer can also snipe Reynor off the ZvZ matchup. At the end, I predict that TL and Kaizi will make it to the playoff, edging GP by a pt or so.

Liquid needs to pick off points from at least 1 of PSI and KZ. Two wins vs SSLT and iG alone might not be enough to make the cut at 16 points.

Very close, in the 3 seasons of the league since it became 12 teams, the cut off points for 7th have been 17, 16 and 18. Non-insignificant chance 16 isn't enough.

The current KZ squad heavily relies on Reynor's ability to score 2-0s. TIME occasionally performs well, but his run 3-to-game consistency is inconsistent, thus you can mostly only rely on Spirit to hold his own.
