AlphaX got their bad matchup against DPG. Had it been Ragnarok vs Rogue and Zoun vs Dark, I would be more hopeful for an Ace match between these 2. Dark like to play the long game vs Protoss, and Ragnarok get a decent ZvZ game could be a factor but now it look like a 5-1 score.

Uthermal vs Patience is about 50/50 going by Aligulac. So I don't feel any of the possible outcomes would be any surprise. Probably will end in an ace match if it goes 1-1, because I don't see cyan taking a map from clem or Kelazhur taking a map from Dream.
Wardi: 12 worker start is superior because before we had 6 minutes in early boring and we didn't know what to talk about. Also Wardi - the next game talks 6 minutes about Subway, chickens and bashing England food choices and life choices or what

Especially since all the teams have been assigned colours for their camera backgrounds anyways. Would be a nice tie-in.

Before the games I would have given him a chance but he got stomped.

Go Elentos! We all know you're capable of bringing huge changes to team leagues in colour-related matters.

I feel like if anyone is able to influence the Chinese scene it's gonna be OneAboveU cause they've basically adopted him with all the coverage he's done.
been looking at former WTL tl threads, and saw Elentos' comment "I don't see what good reason Dark possibly could have had to sack his entire army between Clem's bases.".
The thing was that dark eco was bad compared to clem, courtesy of clem's pressure and base denial (and dark's playstyle being relatively low eco on 70 drones, to compare woth reynor's 90). A 4 base zerg against a 5 base terran for a while is not a good prospect, and by the time he had a b5 at last (whose mining got delayed even further by a lib) the trades with clem had bled the korean out of his bank and clem had added a ton of macro orbitals/new CC. So being agressive with a lurker offensive was probably dark's best bet to try to either sit atop his production or crush part of clem's army if the move caught him off guard.

That's a good idea, maybe digmouse could put in a word too?

The attack was not a bad idea, putting Lurker right in the middle of the bases was the problem. Dark could have burrowed near the highground on the 12 oclock base to take down the base while preventing Clem army from going up and attack the Lurker. Dark didnt do enough damage while Clem army was out of position, and overstayed his welcome in a terrible position. In the end, it looked like Dark lost his entire Lurker count for nothing there.
