It's close to all EU, which is where most relevant players are, it's cheap (not like western Europe) and for most people it's easier to travel to than anything outside the EU - yeah, a few people get screwed over, but the US example is great, it happens a lot there as well.

EDIT: Erik hasn't lost a single map since dropping out of Group stage. 2-0's across the board. He is looking at a Clem/TLO and Zanster/golblin run to make playoffs. If he gets TLO-Zanster he has a chance. Even if he loses now what a great run from him. I've been expecting him to break out for a while now, this might be the start.

But TLO came out of nowhere, I hope he does it! Didn't see that tourney, quite impressive. Future has been a young guy that has been, pardon the pun, the future in Terran in NA for quite some time. I remember him having some great runs even 1-2 years ago, but couldn't put it together consistently yet. Special is really impressive, I love how MaSa plays but he doesn't seem to really care so he goes from horrible to great seemingly at random depending on when he bothers to actually play SC2 (and by horrible I am talking about pro level obviously, that guy could take 2 years off and still GM easily). Yeah young players are often quite inconsistent. We saw that in Neeb and Serral before they became who they are during their eras of dominance). Not saying Clem or Future will ever come close to those two's heights, but it takes time to develop consistency. We see that in Reynor too. Reynor can beat anyone, including Serral, in series at times, but consistency is tough for players 15-16-17-18-19 years old.

Seriously Bly might actually be my favourite Zerg player outside of Serral but he sucks in long games. He does it all too often, when realistically he should adopt a more Has type thing (Has occasionally tries long game to keep the other players honest but knows he lives and dies on early games). I've watched many many Bly games but I don't recall him actually winning a long game. He depends too hard on Muta's in long games, IMO. The other factor is SouL is a super defensive player that loves to play out long games. That's not Kelazhur. Kelazhur is much like Bly in that he sometimes tries to play it out, but he really thrives with rushes and early timings. Kelazhur is basically a lesser version of Byun, he is a micro god that struggles in long games. Both should know about each other try to attack each other early. Both are amazing micro players and should compete against each at that. Would love to watch that series.

PtitDrogo is a very up and down player. He had that run where he won or made finals of a major a year or two ago but then was terrible rest of year, IIRC. He is looking good right now for this one no doubt. It was dissapointing to me to see Scarlett lose to him right now. And I have no faith PtitDrogo keeps it up all year to be a real threat at end of the year because of how up and down he is. I like how he plays I'd love to see him develop consistency but I just don't think he will.

I guess what im saying is he's been pretty consistent all year, and he's been particularly good these last few months so I wouldn't have even considered Scarlett to be a favourite in that match, especially given her ZvP which is a bit shaky. And Drogo is basically known for his PvZ, and was very close to beating Serral in this tournament's challenger.

Well Kelazhur has 1 minute before you're wrong about the series going less than 15.

Saw it now. Can't believe I didn't check it earlier since Gauntlet guys are from same area as me (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada). Thanks though. Bly made a bad mistake in game 3 that cost him the game. Hopefully Kelazhur can go on a run now.

You can't deny the Wunderwünsch. Beat Neeb even faster than Drogo beat Scarlett.

Maybe it's part of his effort to improve his mentality. If he's already satisfied with ro32, then there's less pressure in the next stage, and less tilt if he loses maps.
