Anyone but Stats, but ofc Stats gon Stats and advance to spite me. Looks grim for ByuN with two PvTs or top-tier TvT with Gumiho... :/

SoS has a really good chance of going through first. Only risk is if he goes heavy DT's against Stats. Due to his safe and stable nature.But I am pretty sure his Lotv record against Stats is pretty decent. Luckily Stats is paired up against Byun. With the marauder buff Byun's micro is not something I want SoS to run into. I'll say SoS goes first with Stats in second.

If I remember it right ByuN has always favored heavy-marine style instead of marauder.

This is a tough group to guess.... I think logic dictates that it should clearly be Stats and SoS to get through. But, it seems like Byun has been starting to come back to form. So I think Byun will sneak through, but Stats will probably get out in first. He's Stats. Stop underestimating him.

I'm not as big on Stats this season as I was last season. He still has a good chance to get out but more likely as 2nd, or goes home as 3rd. The thing is Stats always struggles with PvT, his worst MU by far in offline tournaments. Byun and Gumiho aren't exactly best terrans, but still. I think no matter what sOs will get out.

You could be right I only really pay attention to Maru as far as terrans go. But the marauder buff is no joke against toss. Toss generally suck against them until mid to late game with storm + enough immortals. If he gets at least one of his first 3 barracks out with the attachment that doubles them up and 2 of his first 5 with his micro he should be able to due well against either toss player.

I figure of the 2 Stats would/will be better prepared. But because SoS has a very non traditional style he could get rushed by them and wrecked like how Maru did when he got 2-3'd in the first GSL season.

I think Byun has a better chance winning a series off Stats or sOs than he does against GuMiho's TvT. GuMiho works some mech + proxy magic in TvP and comes in 2nd behind Stats.
