EPTOSC Weekly Wager Series
This new tournament series will be replacing the $ Challenge Match series for the first half of 2018, to allow more time for players to build up points to be eligible for those heavy bet head to head matches.
We like the idea of rankings/points fluctuating a bit throughout the season/players backing themselves by putting up their points, rather then only earning via traditional tournaments. So are we're going to trial this tournament format, with a very low point entry, and potentially high point returns, with $100 thrown in for the highest performing players.
If you want to to try and make some quick points, this tournament may be a good option to consider!

How it works
Each player who joins bets 5 of their season 2018 OSC Points towards the weekly pot.
(Players will get a minimum of 2.5 back through participation bonus, so really only a 2.5 point entry bet)

Weekly Points put in by OSC:
1st 60
2nd 30
3rd 10
Plus Player Bets:
50% of weekly OSC Points pot go to the winner
20% of weekly OSC Points pot go to the second
10% of weekly OSC Points pot go to the third
5% of weekly OSC Points pot go to the fourth
2.5% of weekly OSC Points pot go to the each of 5-8th
*To the nearest 2.5 Points, eg 3.5 = 2.5, 4=5
Examples:
8 players = 40. 1st = 20, 2nd 10, 3rd 5, 4th 2.5 (80 total for 1st!)
16 = 80. 1st = 40, 2nd 15, 3rd 10, 4th 5, 5-8th 2.5 each (100 total for 1st!)
24 = 120. 1st = 60, 2nd 25, 3rd 10, 4th 5, 5-8th 2.5 each (120 total for 1st!)
32 = 160 1st = 80, 2nd 30, 3rd 15, 4th 10, 5-8th 5 each (140 total for 1st!)
This tournament requires a minimum of 8 players to run each week.
$100+ USD Prizepool!
At the end of every 4 weeks, $100 Prize will be awarded to the top players with the most collective points over that time.
Player with the most monthly points at the conclusion of every 4th event wins $60
Player with the 2nd most monthly points at the conclusion of every 4th event wins $20
Players with the 3/4th most monthly points at the conclusion of every 4th event wins $10 each
This tournament also counts towards participation competition prizes including 1x return flight to a SC2 event of your choosing, accommodation for and entry to the event!
OSC $ Bounties can also be claimed in this tournament!
We will be using Matcherino for payouts, so prizepool may increase with community support!
