From these, although I am not a fan of ByuN, nor a fan of Serral, I look forward primarily to their match, as only this is the real - great Korean player vs. great foreigner. All other really interesting Korean vs. Foreigner matches happen first on the next day. | ||

Neither are the players they were last year. Neither are top 2 or 3 in their race at this moment or over the last few months. When the players were chosen, you couldn't really have made a strong argument that ByuN was better than the 5th or 6th Terran in Korea. His performance at IEM at the fact that reapers were nerfed doesn't really change that too much. Dark might be 2nd among Zerg in WCS points, but I wouldn't have ranked him above Rogue or Solar. I'd almost have included ByuL with his performance last SSL but failing to make GSL and his performance this season in SSL make that hard to justify. | ||

Wasn't ByuL really sick the week of the GSL qualifiers? Someone mentioned it when he lost 3-0 to Snute a few days after that he hadn't been well. I wouldn't hold the loss against him, his SSL results are fair game though | ||

Stats ? herO (Honestly, seems like 50/50 to me, but I don't really follow korea that much anymore) SpeCial 3-1 Kelazhur (SpeCial holds a solid 19-11 lead, and has won every Bo5 they've played in Copa America) INnoVation 3-1 iAsonu (iAsonu probably cheeses a map, honestly INno's form seems kinda sus but shouldnt be too bad) Serral 1-3 ByuN (Serral needs to really improve his ZvT, but he could make this interesting if he does.) Neeb 3-2 sOs (Who the fuck knows with sOs, man, but Neeb's been pretty clutch in PvP) TY 3-1 Scarlett (Should be a really, really fantastic set that seems far closer than it actually is) Nerchio 2-3 Dark (Probably the biggest upset potential. Hard to say, both player's forms are kinda hard to predict.) soO 3-1 ShoWTimE (Sleeper matchup, should be a lot of fun, but soO is quite good at ZvP) | ||
