Format

Group Stage #2 (Round of 16): Dual Tournament format.
Group Nominations
Best-of-three.
The 4 players of each group in Round of 16 will face off similar to Round of 32.
Players who place 3rd and 4th in their group are eliminated from Code S. They may re-qualify through next season's qualifier

Damn can't believe they'd leave a group this stacked. This is totally unfair, 3 of the best 5 terrans that are currently active in the same group.

I suppose they did it to themselves, though.

Oh well, let's just hope TY and Inno can pull through. As long as Classic gets bopped I'm going to be relatively happy.

By far the three best terrans of 2017 (in terms of results).

Innovation is destined to be in group of death but somehow he manages to come out first just like last season.

Honestly, it wouldn't be such a group of death if Stats didn't replace GuMiho with TY.

It would be fun to see aLive advance but I don't think so. He often chokes in Ro16.

i picked alive and ty idk why tho cause inno doesn't usually choke until the ro8

anyway, do you guys think that gumiho is going to be the spoiler that ryung was in season 1? ryung knocked out byun and maru and gave stats a good fight. gumiho knocked out byul already, so let's see if he can spoil things in the ro8.

This group is too hard to call. Any combination of players could make it out today and I actually think classic might have a chance here. He was performing poorly earlier in the year but I think his play has improved at lot recently and has only had to practice one match-up. While aLive's TvP is his best matchup, the Terran's have probably focussed a bit more of their practice time on TvT.

All the players have been in good shape so I think it will come down to who is the best prepared.

Inno will make it out for sure, his hype train doesn't crash until he stomps the Group of Death and looks completely invincible.

Then he chokes and disappoints everyone. But not until the Ro8 at least, so he should be fine tonight.

TY has a great shot at advancing too, but aLive and Classic could upset Inno/TY pretty easily.
