I'll watch it in a bit. Only caught game 6. I'd say that was the highlight of the series though the rest is not bad, but a lot of it was decided by build orders and -especially- Snute's lack of scouting. i tried to scout on prion but it was shut down, my overlord path was very badly chosen so that's on me. from there though, the issue was a combo of overdroning and not having enough gas early enough (macro mistake) plus some bad control. strategically, the game was in my zerg hands obviously (2x gold vs medivac-less allin) on central protocol i knew it would be a 2base allin but overestimated the time before his moveout would happen, once again overdroning/transitional error, trying to get too big of a lead instead of just massing roaches safely. big mistake. gamesense/general intelligence in zvt hasn't been my strongest suit so to me this was a very hard finals to play and not really a surprising result, a lot of other zergs are far smarter when it comes to dealing with 2 base allins like this. i don't think the terran builds are good in and of themselves. ladder zergs would probably win the games that i didn't. i got a lot of comments from close friends as well as the other pros that it was very throw-ish, and that's 100% justified. polt is very smart and his builds unorthodox, i expected 2-base allins but missed important 'target counts' in transitions and that lost me two very important games. i could afford losing on seras and orbital to some extent but not with failing the other simple checks. You impressed me a lot during the tournament, I wish you all the best in LotV.

Well done on a terrific tournament Snute! You've always been my favorite foreigner (and I dislike the Z race in general, especially SH, which you made utterly magical). Was really torn rooting between you and Polt since you're both everything that's great in the SC2 scene. Decided to just enjoy the series and was thrilled you both combined to deliver some exhilarating games.
My favorite takeaway was the long embrace you shared afterwards and the words shared. Such mutual respect and class. All of us here (who are so much less talented and will never play for anything close to those stakes) would do well to remember that. Great to see you rising up again and really hope to see you hold the trophy soon. Your fans are proud!
