Really looking forward to it, Season 1 was really fun.
Edit: That mappool is kinda outdated, I guess that'll be changed soon to atleast include the new ladder maps

Indeed but during the Axiom/TaKe drama TB said that he didn't want Axiom to be part of TaKe's events anymore. Maybe he changed his mind, it would be nice.
Also, I just read the rulesbook and i'm REALLY glad that pretty much all the concerns about the season 1 rules have been listened :
- removal of the special revive
- only 1 round
- additional rules about teams not being able to find a date for their match (like Axiom last time with their 5+ matches late)

Yeah, the rulebook is MUCH better. Extra things you didn't mention:
- Less delay before and during the clanwar. No ROOT showing up 30 minutes late anymore.
- Only one chance for regame after a disconnect. No situations like Liquid vs MVP etc.
I hope both TakeTV is professional and strict enough to enforce the rules and the teams professional enough to oblige or otherwise not to participate. Last season was maybe excusable because of all the WCS stuff appearing midseason, but now it should be pretty clear that you have to be able to field a team every week. And teach your players how to not expose their IP addresses!
Also, every team now gets $3,500 in travel compensation instead of $1500.
Flaws:
- The mappool is again ultra-conservative. Especially Daybreak has no place in SC2 anymore.
- It doesn't answer what constitutes a team. Not sure if it needs a rule or not. The problem with Karont3 was the admin backtracking, not the decision
- Somewhere it says CEST. Daylight Saving Time ends soon
- The standings criteria 3-4 should be removed entirely, especially they shouldn't be before 5-6:
3. More wins overall in maps
4. Less losses overall in maps
Not only is criterion 4 completely redundant as 3 together with 2 (map difference) is the same, but the criteria shouldn't be before H2H. Again, these rules exist in football to encourage more offensive play, they don't make sense in SC2.
And I obviously hope they get an English and French caster for every clanwar.

Hope teams that did not have enough time to maintain the schedule of this team league take a step back this time, and allow teams who would pour their heart into it to participate instead.

They should follow WCS mappool. If WCS mappool change during ATC2, ATC2 should follow asap.
I think this is the best for everyone.
edit: I am not saying WCS has the best mappool, but this is extremely friendly/familiar to use.

I agree, WCS is using the current ladder maps, so ATC should do aswell (+2 ofc because its bo9). But I bet that will change before the start of the regular season
So excited for this nonetheless.

But im very happy that ATC returns with an improved rulebook concerning scheduling. And i dont mind that the revive rule is gone.
Travel support was upped to 3500$ + 2 hotel rooms. For european teams thats basically covering all travel costs. Thats really good. Its a good thing that all information are there and you have to confirm that you've read them when you sign up. Those drama proactive prevention skills :D
