Double-elimination Tournament Best of 3 series Extended Series + Show Spoiler +
If Players are scheduled to play each other for a 2nd time in an Event, their Match will expand to a Best of 7, include the previous Match, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if Player A beat Player B 2 Games to 0 in the Winners Bracket, the Best of 7 will resume with Game 3 and Player A leading 2 Games to 0.
Winners of each of tonight's matches earn an all-expense paid trip and a Group Play seed at the MLG Fall Championship
I like ganzi and scarlett but hwangsin is such a nice guy especially after that one post he made on TL that made me so sad for him. I wish all 3 could get the trip
also guys a note, after this broadcast will be the final day of the regular MvP season (playoffs for MvP start friday and run through the weekend and next week).

That's a shame! Hoping for good games whoever you show though. glhf tonight!
If Terrans learned to scan when they siege their tanks like that for burrowed Infestors, they wouldn't be losing these engagements. Then people complain...

Not really complaining I just find it kind of hilarious is all, then again I'm not terran so meh xD
I know this is probably best asked somewhere else but I can't find the answer anywhere:
What happened to MLG's partnership with twitch? Why am I forced to watch with Own3D which I consider to be a much more inferior streaming outlet (though I appreciate what the guys do, and their support of the community). I have subscriptions and an account with Twitch and hate seeing that investment go away.
Even though I've seen a lot of Scarlett games, the creep spread still amazes me every time. Not only does she get massive coverage incredibly fast, but she keeps respreading in the later portions of the game. A lot of zergs have good spread at the start of the game, but once the action picks up the tumors that get killed never get replaced.
Why does GanZi get to play in the NA qualifier? Just because hes on Complexity? or he is at complexity house?
Also I hate how there will be like 5 ESF players at MLG Dallas.....
Im sorry, but those are the players I love (I know some people only watch foreigners or only like Kespa players, thats cool I understand.) I dont really care to see NA and EU players in group play just to see most of them get demolished by KeSPA players.

It is a North American tournament. Having North Americans there isn't a inherently bad thing.

I know. Its just that Sundance always says "What we do best is competition" or somethign like that and from that I would think they would want the best players playing the best players.
Lets be honest, Raleigh was one of the worst MLG's in a while, there were only a handful of big name Koreans there. Anaheim and Columbus were awesome events imo, but Other than the fact there were be a few kespa players playing, I dont see how this will be an improvement off Raleigh because of the lack of the big name Esf players.

Well, the issue with Raleigh was 1. the terrible format, even by MLG standard and 2. the fact that they planned on having a bunch of KeSPA players but they ended up replacing them by a bunch of random US based players. Just... ya.

there will be 12 non-kespa korean players at mlg dallas group play (13 if you count Ganzi) more might be in the open bracket. 8 from Raleigh 3 from korean qualifiers 1 from MvP tournament.
Great final game by Scarlett. She dealt with all those drops perfectly, killing all the units and the medivacs for only Infestor Energy! Impressive play by her. Trading extremely efficiently in every engagement.
The casting today was very enjoyable. Axslav and Axeltoss doing a great job together.

she didnt even play great lol...
fungals just hit everything so he lost 5-6 medivacs full of units
Ganzi is capable of qualifying for Code A. At this point, ANY NA player who looks like they can consistently beat a Code A-class Terran is worth supporting.
The infestor control, decision making and above all map awareness was great to watch. I hate seeing pros lose to drops they could have seen if they were watching closely enough.

But am I the only one who gets bored/frustrated by watching mass infesters?
That was some beautiful Infestor control though. Great harassment pick-offs, great control to avoid EMPs, even sniping Ghosts with Broodlords.
Honestly the only exceptional infestor control I really saw was the timing of the fungals on medivacs... Ghosts seem like they would be pretty easy to snipe/zone with the long range of BL's. And TBH It was more Ganzi missing his EMP's then her control/ dodging them imo.
Again I think Scarlett overall played very well, her creep spread was wicked and macro was solid. Just the more and more I watch infester play the more I really start to agree with the whole #SaveHotS thing. Fungal imo needs some serious reworking as does a lot of things(*Cough* Forcefields*Cough*)

oh thanks I wasnt aware that Raleigh players were getting seeds. Well technically GanZi and Crank (any more?) arent eSF, but they used to be, so ill let it slide lol

Every engagement after Ghosts were shown she led out with 1-2 Infestors only, and the rest were held way back.

It'd be nice if medivacs could still unload when fungaled.
They can.
The reason they said it couldn't unload if your'e referring to the ohana position in the bottom right was because the medivacs were over a slight cliff or over unloadable terrain. Axlav even made a comment "it doesn't really matter, they'd just drop to their doom" or something like that.

ya scarlett did an amazing job of consistently catching the medis in spots they couldn't unload was really impressive.
