Yeah, Moon wasn't particularly good at SC2 in the past. When he was practicing for two games. Now, he's practicing for one game, and he's looking great in the team league so far. Sure, correlation doesn't imply causation, but in this case, things seem to make sense - Practice for 2 games at once, be rather mediocre; focus on a single game, be really good.
