Clide? Terrible?
Unfortunately for our friend SangHo, Clide is a master of the late game.

Clide is terrible now? Hyperbole much?
He is one the top Terrans in the world and has been for a while

Watching San vs Clide was so depressing. He's gone from the butt of every GSL joke to the most exciting and talented Protoss in the world to watch, and then back to a nobody because Blizzard decided that he wasn't allowed to do anything other than 1a collosus spam and patched him out of the game. Amulet removal was such a terrible idea. :/

/e lol i thought im watching the games live but i watched the vods xD

Two straight games vs...... NesTea

Sad story for Jinro and San Just saw the VODs. Its hard to come back after some lose streak for Jinro, but i believe he can pull it off. GL for Up and Down matches.

Amulet removal was such a terrible idea. :/ Alicia delays his Colossus a LONG time but still wins. Sometimes he doesn't even go Colossi. Although his builds could be extremely risky to Cloaked Banshees as he doesn't get his Robo early.
San was just outplayed in the game against Clide and was just beaten by an unexpected build against Jinro. In fact, he went Colossi against Jinro and probably one of the reasons he lost against Clide because he went DTs too early without being able to do anything with them.
HTs are still pretty powerful late game... you just have to adapt better (building them earlier, controlling them better so as to not getting EMPed, etc).

Haven't gotten the chance to watch the games yet, but OMFG, thank you, Fruitdealer, for not letting me down this time. Just. THANK YOU. (How were his games? More of the "solid decision making + macro but kind of depressingly sloppy" or just solid? Or cheesy? Ahahaha. I take it Group F wasn't that exciting.)
On the other hand: Lyn. D: D: D:
Also, Fruitdealer vs. NesTea. But I have faith. =/

+ Show Spoiler +Jinro really outstratted San so hard, that was a real big stomp... Too bad he didn't pull it off vs Nestea, felt like he needed to play totally different.. Nestea droned so hard making harass almost useless...

Cliiiiiiddddeeee!!!
Amazing stutterstep against San.

holy fuck. Could someone explain why the stutter-step was unusually good stutter-step? It looked very standard to me... I see it from players of all levels doing it. I'm not sure why people focus on that when he did so many other more impressive things. He stimmed marine stutter step without losing any dps. 50% faster that's what it looks like. Not your single marine vs probe stutter step....

wow good day for TSL today, all their players made it through.

good day that two very good zergs qualify
bad day that they have to face either next round
and these two can well be the best two zergs in the world (from previous record)

This is all San's fault for choosing Jinro. Damn you San, why do you have to be so confident in your TvZ! Well MKP and Jinro are out. I'll be rooting for my man crush Nada.

Not to start a balance whine/discussion, but HT move very slowly. You can't really "maneuver" or "dodge" with them other than basic spreading, which isn't as relevant late game when Terran has the resources for 4-5 ghosts to blanket EMP.

damn... jinro.. sucks that you had to go against nestea and clide and san
