Now not to really whine about terran being imbalanced or whatever because I honestly think that zerg does stand chances against terran. I've never really put much thought into imbalances in sc2 however in this game I had the biggest struggle against a terran who went basically straight for battle cruisers. I absolutely love battle cruisers and I think that they're an awesome strong unit, but based on this game I just had, I feel like they might be a lil too strong in the early game. Although I managed to hold this rush off (but just by barely) I wanted to know what you're thoughts are on this particular game. I felt like I was only lucky to throw down my hydra den, however I did not have enough gas to produce enough hydras to solidly hold this. Anyway, here's the replay. Any zerg tips would be awesome. And I think they should slightly nerf the BC's somehow. Just a tad of whine lol

I'm pretty sure they're nerfing BC's vs ground units in patch 1.1

CAn't watch the replay cuz im at work but i imagine that harrassing with mutas before the T can get the BC's out would be the best option.
Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider!

Banshees I can understand possibly (but I think its just something needed to be fix w/ zerg), but Battlecruiser? No possible way. It takes too long to get a BC out, and by then you should have ample anti-air. The problem lied in the fact that you blindly went almost pure ground. You never thought of using a sacrificial overlord (judging by the distance, you probably didn't even need to sac it, just peek in), teching up to get muta/overlord/overseer to scout. When facing terran, its hard to know what they're doing, but thats no excuse to play absolutely blind with no interest to see whats up.

The current standard build by many Zerg is Mutalingbling. If you were to do have build, you would have scouted the Fusion Core very early on, harass, and prepare by making corruptors, which are superb against BCs.

till 6minutes u were flawless, imo when u saw that fac rax with tech lab u shouldnt have used so much roachs and already gone for muta or hydra, other than that those 2 supplies would be easily dealt with 3 single baneling and u would have a very sooner gg ...

also bc will be nerfed against ground units in 1.1 it's already confirmed

edit: supplies near the ramp, they were defenseless...
