Hey, I'm Schleck! I'm new to SC2 map making, I literally just started the other day, but I've been interested and I wanna maybe one day make a map that gets on the ladder (however unlikely that is). Anyway, to get there, I need to make good maps. So here's my first ever map which I published, it sucks but I'd like feedback on how to improve. Anyway, here's the map.

Frozen Heights

Size: 133x126

Servers: US

Key features: Center area is the highest point on the map, but also has a lot of chokes around it.

4th base can be potential risk as it is further than other bases.

The natural is impossible to wall, and has highground overlooking it to boot which means Protoss probably can't ever expand. Additionally the main mineral line can be sieged (or for that matter shot at by ravagers) from the lowground which is another big problem. The middle of the map has too many narrow chokes that don't allow surrounds. Some areas/passages of the map seem to not be useful at all. Furthermore texturing every level the same makes situating yourself quite difficult--different areas/levels should generally have different colours/texturing. The image is also really small which makes it hard to tell if (for example) the mineral lines are all correct.
