DeathHead "the sign of 4" RTS
4 units to micro, 4 spells per unit, 4 minutes before first gamer loses, 4 outcomes possible and 4/5 stars

your enjoyment, it is meant to make gamers go into full unit micro exploit mode with micro multitasking and real time split second decision making with the mates/gals,
it is not meant to supplant any of your ladder fun but to make you truly go full yolo,
it is a transient base race not a long con .; it is the 4 unit RTS .. that is what is in the box!

all allied and with same units available
you sever all alliances (or set as a 2v2 whatever you desire) on top right of the screen menu
and can then start frantically attacking and building Command centers to lift them off and hide them all over the map
for now, there are a few npcs map bosses but nothing that can't be worked out even on your own.. moreover there are also "allied" npcs available roaming the map that you can use..
.. the only other different thing from a "standard melee" ffa is that all gamers are allied with a computer ai,
if that computer dies all gamers lose as a collective
tldr:
Melee win/lose objectives : if you destroy all your opponents buildings you win, severing alliance right away is a good thing <3
then it is a micro multitasking fest

4 player max but you can play test the map alone or play a 1v1 or a 1v1v1, just remember to set alliance to "no"t locked! so you can change at will all throughout the game

Train Scvs .. they will build geysers to gather gas and build Command centers to allow survival
Deploy Spy .. spies will drop mules and infiltrate all the map
Deploy squad .. drop a ship with a squad of marines and a medic

Deploy WMD .. to end the game quick
Arm nuke .. spies need nukes to drop, make more ccs to allow for more nukes to fly!

Spy cloak .. this one time (for now) ability changes the caster's owner for a few seconds (to a neutral / controllable by all gamers computer ai player, the opponent can still target it manually but will not be "auto acquiring" the unit during this 3 second window)

Hayouken .. applies high dps damage / destroys anything by manual targeting, each launch of the attack stuns the target for a fewseconds all the while creating a Hayouken (a scourge attacks all unit/building type of unit) to be used as you wish

Teleport .. in original form the caster will be able to do multiple short teleport, in psi form ..anywhere

Psi form .. this allows to create a timer limited (unit will die) flying version of the caster unit (while hiding the caster from the game) and when it dies .. the caster will re appear where it originally switched (a storm doodad model serves as a position beacon) to psi form
Return to self .. this ability allows you to kill the psi form unit and return the original caster to its transformation position

Start game and sever alliances
make one Special agent and then as many spies as you can, all the while grabbing geysers / building ccs to gather gas (gas is hard to get in this map and gets spent quickly)
don"t make too many Scvs (Spies will mule for minerals more efficiently)
make Scvs to secure and garner gas and to make ccs mostly .. (do not hesitate to hide them in your fleeing ccs!)
All through out the game, the idea is to "save" the allied computer and to use it to steer the map bosses / npcs into their defeat or into your opponent's bases .. to each his/her own
but since you can 'pilot" some of its buildings you can save a cc in the corner quite easily, for now..
saving the allied computers "collectively" or individually is purely a gamer's choice...
When you have 4/5 Command centers and feel comfortable go for the jugular to smash all opponent gamers
(expect your original main to be blown up)
and from then on just add Special agents or mass Spies and keep on the move (lets say this game sets up basetrading as a given, as a standard, a staple.. it spurs it to a new level, picture it sort of like "constant base trading")

Control groups
The spies Special agents WMD and Hayoukens units get "set" to a control group automatically when you produce them (so for instance when the SpAgent is created / when he turns sayan/psi form and when it dies, the unit is always on #1

Luring the map bosses / npcs unto your opponent is really a potent strategy!
Gas
Gas is the ultimate currency because some part has to be defining that part of the game, but if your unit never gets killed, you have the resources required to win right from the first minute!
Meta
This is meant to be played full yolo, constant tower defense AND constant re locating game, there is no proper meta for "hiding buildings" or such powerful units as are available in this rts,
and i happen to think that it is the way to go, the way to discover <3

As in all my maps a camera system is operational by using the numerical panel,
(press 0 to reset to game cam / 123 for zoom ins etc)

Seems like for now ffa has a bad rep, i mean the blizzard failed fish was not .. it was sub par.. ok granted but i mean it was .. mmm .. bad rap indeed!
