MotM September 2014 is done, winners have been chosen! I am a little bit busy these days unfortunately, so I will have to keep this short. Please forgive me 
Here are the results:

DatGamesense, who came out of nowhere, took 1st Place by a single vote!
His map Orichalcum received 29% of all votes!
He will receive 20$!

2nd Place goes to Sanctuary by Timetwister22, which got 28% of all votes! It was a really close head to head race, which he just barely lost!
He will receive 15$.

3rd Place goes to Catalyst by -NegativeZero-, who succeeded in a close race for the final top 3 placement. His map got 14%% of all votes!
He will receive 5$!

With that said, All map posted after the 25th of September on will be considered for MotM October 2014!
All you need to do is to create a map thread following the forum guidelines (please include a top down overview) AND publish the map on battle.net until the 25th of October.

Once again we are taking donations! As usual, 50% of the donations will be used for the competition prize pool. The other 50% will be saved up to fund upcoming MotM events.

Holy shit my vote did make a difference. Sanctuary seemed to be all the rage but that one didn't seem like the best one to me. Glad most people seem to agree it was Orichalcum. Gratz Gamesense.

Cool looking maps
It's a real shame that blizzard would rather do a ladder season where players are forced to play on a bunch of tired old maps that are mostly confirmed to be bad rather than giving a talented community of mapmakers the opportunity to have their maps used by the greater sc2 population
