Once again, the Map Cave (TL mapmaking skype group) has done a great job chosing the finalists, after we improved the process slightly. The TL community has now cast their final votes. So here are the results. In other news, we have now close to 200$ saved up for the MotM tournament. Preperations have already started. So I would like to thank to everyone who has supported MotM so far! 1st Place was claimed by -NegativeZero-, who already performed very well in the past month! His map AEM Isomer received 26% of all votes! He will receive 30$! 2nd Place goes to Mockingbird by lefix, which got 24% of all votes! only 2 votes seperated these maps! He will receive 20$. 3rd Place goes to KTV Samarra Mines by Uvantak, who has won in the previous month. His map got 22%% of all votes. He will receive 10$! 4th Place went to AEM Oasis by NewSunshine, our winner from 2 months ago! 18% of all votes. + Show Spoiler + 5th Place went to Parrot Cay by ScorpSC2, who has made a strong comeback in the melee mapmaking communty after a couple months of absence! 10% of all votes. + Show Spoiler + Full results of the poll can be found here: + Show Spoiler + With that said, All map posted after the 25th of July on will be considered for MotM August 2014! All you need to do is to create a map thread following the forum guidelines (please include a top down overview) AND publish the map on battle.net. Once again we are taking donations! As usual, 50% of the donations will be used for the competition prize pool. The other 50% will be saved up to fund upcoming MotM events. So far, there are 195$ in the MotM event funds!
