I don't know why someone would say GOsia's macro is awesome. He greed expo'ed like Savior, then massed a bunch of hatcheries. But that's a far cry from saying his macro is awesome. 5k gas float is not awesome macro. Mass mutas into Guardian/Devourers vs Toss is definitely not awesome macro. The mass mutas were really great and got him a good advantage with their mobility, but there's a time when you realize that your strat has paid off and you need to switch into the next step. He just continued to mass mutas like a maniac, when Protoss has 3 fantastic counters to it. The commentators were talking about how they never see this strat vs Toss, and that's exactly the reason why. No matter how many mutas you get, your entire army will die to 2 storms if they're bunched together. Who invests that much money into something that utterly dies to 2 storms?

He really needed to transition into massive lurker/ling/hydra attacks or just go straight for mass ultra/ling/filers. I am lost for words why he continued to mass mutas. He massed mutas on five gas the 2nd game and lost. Why didn't he learn his lesson?! Still, it was a very entertaining match and both players play at a level I'd never achieve. But SC's become one hell of a spectator sport now, so I exercise my right as a fan to critique
