I am not finished with my read through but I want to get something out tonight so here are my impressions of day 1 and a recent occurrence.

Day1:

JW: I really did not like his self depreciating style or his buddying to VE. I don't like having to judge the sincerity of that kind of defense in order to make a scum read. And now I see that he is acting confused and defeated, the former is reasonable, the latter is unacceptable.

Bluelightz: His posting feels off to me from the last game I played with him where he was town. This is from memory, but what I'm reading from Bluelightz just isn't what I was expecting. Also, I didn't like that only halfway through day 1 he had a list of people he was comfortable lynching (Click). I think it is scummy that he didn't pressure or seriously analyze people he was willing to lynch. The exception being cccalf(me), who was absolutely safe to go after because of the hard lurking.

I understand that the chance of us winning at this point is very low, but it is still there. Play to win, all the way to the end. Going into LYLO every single townie MUST be on one target or the game is already lost. Sinensis clearly thinks I should be this target, that is not why I care. I care because Sinensis isn't trying to convince anyone but himself. We are in a situation where a lack of focus is guaranteed to be fatal. Sinensis's actions only serve to cause chaos in the town right when we need to unify. I will be looking hard at his filter today.

The only viable lynches to me today are Sinensis and Bluelightz. JW alleviated my initial suspicion of him sufficiently by the time I finished reading.

Bluelightz, one post in particular caught my attention and largely flew under the radar:

This was when MrZentor's craziness was in full swing, which is why I guess it did not receive the proper attention at the time. This, to me, is the equivalent of Blue putting his hands up and saying, "Yep, ya got me. I have done multiple scummy things.". He gets pressured a bit for it immediately afterward, but it is largely dropped. He admits to 3 scummy actions that remain scummy whether he acknowledges them or not. Posting many contradictions, actively buddying VE, and sheeping VE hard. And as for the other half of his claim? He shared a town read on ET, a desire to lynch ccc, and sowed suspicion on Gonzaw without pushing him for a lynch. Most everything else he has 'added' to the discussion has been sheeping and echoing back other people's statements.

Then we have Sinensis, my vote is going to him because if he is not scum then this game is already over. I also agree with slOosh's case against Sinensis and I don't want to be the one splitting the focus in LYLO. But those reasons are secondary. From where I stand, with it being LYLO and Sinensis stubbornly refusing to vote anyone but me, the game is already over if Sinensis is town. I have to vote him, and I'm happy to after reading his scummy behavior.

After Sinensis is lynched we need to lynch Blue. I could easily see them being scumbuddies with posts like this interaction:

I'm reluctant to speculate too much before Sinensis's lynch. If I add 1-2 more people I think are scum right now then I have practically a fully fleshed out scum list before even 1 red has flipped. Doing exactly that is what screwed me last time I was in LYLO. I don't want to alienate a townie by presenting a full scum team that may not be totally accurate.

I'm thinking ahead lynch wise, but I want to keep my focus small scale. Sinensis lynch + Bluelightz scum case today, Bluelightz lynch + a new scum case tomorrow.

The problem I saw with C_C posting the flag was the potential for role fishing, not because it revealed his nationality. BH was completely right that (until the diagram) posting the flag told you nothing about C_C's nationality. However, just by posting it C_C was risking people's first reactions being revealing enough that scum could use it to inform their kills.

It is not even that it is likely that something like that could happen. It is that C_C even opened that can of worms that is anti-town.
