Though it's been over 6 years (holy shit) I am going to be stepping down from my role here as manager of the game's queue. I've thought it over for a while so this is not a decision made lightly but I believe that a more active person should be taking on this role. Due to real life happenings I'm not able to keep up with the forum on a regular basis anymore. Recently this has led me to forget to check and update the queue for periods of 7-10 days. Most hosts are pretty smart about posting so this isn't usually an issue but a more active person should be in charge who doesn't have any issues checking every other day (which is what my previous schedule allowed). I think it's been like 4 years since I've played a game too. It really just occurred to me as I'm writing this that I've been around for close to 8 years. I have very fond memories of If you are interested on taking on this role you can just let me know and I'll show you the ropes. At the end of the day there's not too much to worry about as we have such a great array of hosts (which is something I'm proud of). Of course there is always work to be done in promoting the forum and finding new people to play. Always town, Foolishness

Thank you, Foolishness, for your tireless work keeping the game list up to date over the years. E: Yay. Mods don't need reports to know when people are being douchebags.

I for one see the direct correlation between a dwindling player base and the fact that someone who hasn't played a game for 4 years but loves this game sooo much that it's so very close to his heart, was the one guy aspiring hosts needed to explain their intentions to. I repeat, what he did was pointless if not downright sabotage. If people just post their game whenever they feel like it, they shouldn't get their hopes up for people to join it, but anyone can peruse the subforum and coordinate in such a manner as to maximize signup efficiency and appeal. Foolishness put himself in a position where he could only do harm, and so he did. He will not be missed.

What a bullshit. I am a new host from 2016 and I never had any contact to Foolishness that was in any way bad or deterring to what I was doing. He was helpful and if he couldn't help out himself, he'd redirect me to someone who could. It's an absolute shame to post such things now that Foolishness is "retiring". If you feel like he'd done a bad job, why not say this upfront? Why not criticize openly, fairly? It's an absolute disgrace, N0, and congratulations, you've earned the #2 spot on my very personal ban list. #1 being taken by your lookalike (or maybe even alter ego who knows) Race Bannon. Foolishness, thanks for everything you've done. I hope someone will take over the wheel and keep driving.

Anyone in this community would've helped or redirected you, should you have experienced difficulty with what? idk. Was he good at being obsolete? No. As he himself pointed out he forgot to check the subforum for days, he didn't play for 4 years and he said stuff like this On December 05 2010 16:27 Foolishness wrote: I think we can all agree we'd rather play a game hosted by Incognito, Qatol, or Chuiu, than one hosted by Bill Murray or Showtime!. which is bad for someone in his position. If the one guy who "manages" the subforum doesn't actually play, what impression does that make? A community which fosters an attractive image must not tolerate people who raise themselves above others with no discernible benefit, and then wallow in redundancy or worse.
