From the Big Apple to Venice of the North, we’re hitting the road! As we head into the Summer Split, we’re taking our NA LCS Summer Finals to New York City with our EU Finals hitting Stockholm on August 22 and 23.
Start spreadin’ the news...League’s coming to NYC!
It’s a long awaited trip to the East Coast for the LCS, so we’re going big and hosting this year’s final at the legendary Madison Square Garden, in association with Tribeca Games (the team behind the Tribeca Film Festival).
The Garden has been host to countless historic sports and entertainment events over the course of its 136 year existence - and we can’t wait to add League’s best teams from North America to its history. To celebrate our visit to NYC, we’ll be throwing a party worthy of Madison Square Garden’s hallowed halls. Alongside the onstage action of NA LCS’ best teams battling it out for a spot at the 2015 World Championships along with a third/fourth place matchup, there'll be activities onsite including hosting cosplayers, and other League-related attractions.
Celebrating EU’s best in the City on the Water
Over in EU we’ll be taking the action to fans in Stockholm, where European’s finest will be going head to head onstage at the Hovet Arena.
Ahead of Worlds 2015 in central Europe, we’ll be visiting Nordic fans and hosting our EU finals and third/fourth place clash in an arena legendary for high adrenaline ice hockey battles. After testing the mettle of ambitious amateur teams in our upcoming Nordic Open, we’re looking forward to showcasing the best of our 2015 EU contenders to fans throughout the region before we head over to central Europe for Worlds.
As with our Finals in New York, we’ll be sprinkling in extra League experiences and memories for our Stockholm attendees with cosplay and community activities under the Hovet Arena roof. Check back within the next few weeks for more details.
We’re ready to celebrate the end of an amazing NA LCS season with finals showdowns and third/fourth place matchups in NYC and Stockholm! Planning to join us? Stay tuned for information on tickets - available in June.

- Depends on who is starter support for GIANTS!, NoXiaK or Rydle, Germany or Spain is most represented country in LCS. Third highest is Sweden. LCS Summer finals on Globen-Arena?
Missed arena, saaaaaaalt >: Still hilarious, lol but considering that Godfred is Swedish, all is good.

As I said in the GD, I can't wait for people to flip shit when ticket prices get announced. It's weekend MSG and Ticketmaster so it's probably gonna be like $300+ lol.
|
I feel like this is both good and bad, obviously msg is a huge score but popping the NYC cherry with NA LCS is less than ideal
|
Oh sick I may have to get over there.

MSG is pretty damn expensive so I'll probably pass. However, I would love to do some Teamliquid afterhour get together in K-Town nearby .

Significantly cheaper than expected. Riot subsidies strong?
|
It might have to do with the amount of seats they planned to use for the event along with the subsidies. $60 is a great price for the front and center seats.

Say would it be smart to buy these in a block so that the TL folks that are going can all be close when we need to cheer for TL in the finals?

prob only chance at floor seats at MSG for any event l0l
I assume it's per day tickets, plus ticket master fees, so it would probably end up being a lot higher than $60.
