I had to show that this sequence (e) is bounded and increasing, and has a limit. I proved the bounded part, but im having trouble showing increasing.

I think i have shown it is strictly increasing, but it is too much work to write it down here ^^ Hint : If u have to show that x>1 but it seems difficult, try to find some y so that x>y>1, but x>y and y>1 are easier to show . I think, it is not that hard to do, but maybe it needs a little practise ![]() edit : sry my internet connection failed, and i had to write all down a second time, so my post made not much sense ![]() i have not read the following posts, but i guess someone has given u an answer already.

![]() Maenander, how does that apply to this problem? I have to show for all n, finding "some y" would mean im showing for that y it works. Ugh. Try to write it out ![]()

But the fact such a majority of the US citizen looks down on other countries calling theirs the best, while beeing obese, eating burgers and watching retarded talk shows all day -__- of course this is a stereotype, but there is some truth in it (I've experienced it...) And especially when u know that so few US citizens have visited europe or some other part of the world... and to some guy who was laughing at chiracs politics.. let me lol plz ? u say now hes asking bush for having some part in Iraq... BUT whos the tard who decided to have this war even without the UN, despite their decision ? The funny thing is that the UN was created on US initiative to avoid this kind of random invasion.. And even more funny is that they now ask the UN to help out financially building up Iraq again.. I mean wtf the worlds crazy o_O

The rest of your points are pretty good, except for the fact that you missed the sarcasm in my post, I can see how you would miss it though, it's not like I wrote on the bottom of my post that I was being extremely sarcastic.....I was expecting a post like that from bigballs....well, not entirely like that, you're not retarded, just confused... I saw the sarcasm but chose to respond to your "points" as just that.

This guy comes on a post complaining about us making fun of the French and he begins to say that Americans are fat and look down on all of the other countries. Saying that there is a little truth behind this stereotype. There is a little truth behind this stereotype as well: France couldn't win a war if their lives depended on it.

without british and russian help? russians didnt help..they took about 80% of the blow. if not for russian defense on the eastern front and the valiant defense of Stalingrad the rest of russia and basically asia would have been open to germans..limitless supplies / natural resources and civilians to utilize in labour camps, after which i dont care how many troops you amount, if germany has asia you are gg'd. so Russia would have won without the British or Americans or any western front/african front? I doubt it. Of course you guys contributed alot, but if you think you're the only one..

3.So america fears N. Korea? it's sad that America will say "We'll get all countries with WMD's and a government that supports terrorism" then you've got Iraq practically pleading like a scared girl "don't attack us please, we have nothing" and N. Korea jumping up and down, swinging their arms, yelling "LOOK AT ME, WMD'S? WE DO THAT!" That just completely owned the US.

lets say you're sequence is An (imagine the n is subscript) you need to prove that An+1 > An so... do cross multiplication and simplify to show something obvious i don't think u even need to simplify because you can just say n + 1 will always be a higher power or just describe why its > I think i was taught the fancy way to argue that but it escapes me now ![]() heh now that i think about it (1+1/n)^n is the number e so yeah your question is ez.

Whoever wrote that isn't too bright. You aren't too bright either for agreeing.

I tried induction and it wasnt working out (assume this is true and then show that (n+2)^2n+3 <= n+1^n+1 * (n+3)^n+2 I couldnt get it to show this last step.
