Can't these people make an original movie at least once every year? Stop doing fucking sequels god damn it. The matrix was good then they fucked it all up with huge dragonball Z esque fighting on the 3rd movie. Spiderman was good until they made peter parker fucking emo Just fucking stop. If they are not gonna put any effort and just pretty everything up with CGI then I'm not paying to see their stankin movies | ||

The dialog is downright AWFUL. Good actors can't salvage an unbearably bad script. CG is okay, still very obvious it is CG though. Motion is still off at parts, even if they did use motion capture. Decent plot, but it's paced horribly with poor storytelling. List would get long if I went into more detail, I'll leave it at that. | ||

If they are not gonna put any effort and just pretty everything up with CGI then I'm not paying to see their stankin movies you're right on most accounts, except i don't think this movie was made by a big production company. i could be wrong though. also, beowulf isn't a sequel, but i think i get what you mean. another shortcoming that hasn't been mentioned yet was the dissonant wailing; had to cover my ears every single time | ||

Exactly. It's difficult to appreciateany of the CG or eye candy when you're forced to wince at the utter absurdity of the poor script. Another perfect example of why a terrible script and poor execution can do to a movie. | ||

There's another Beowulf movie that recently came out, called "Beowulf and Grendel"... that one is better if you ask me, because it's a lot more real and authentic. | ||

But I saw it in IMAX 3D and it's great. First movie I see completely in 3D for the whole duration. If you plan on seeing this movie, go see it in 3D. If you don't have any 3D cinema near you, don't go and wait for the dvd I guess | ||

I really hate the use of CGI. Looks like a damn game (and not in a good way). You're some kind of special liar. This movie has fantastic animation, the only parts that really were flawed were the horses... the running just looked wrong. The rest of the animation was superb, and some of the parts were actually the best I've seen in this style. The movie itself isn't anything special, but it's an enjoyable watch in IMAX 3D. | ||
