So, what u guys think about what happened?
I personally understand Will's reaction, although i would have liked to see him acknowledging that violence isnt the best answer.
And I really dont like seeing people using God or love as an excuse for not beeing able to control themselves, even if its an understandable action such is this one.

Was stupid, Smith had no problem seeing jokes about other peoples wives but that was the joke that crossed the line. Okay... perhaps he should have done that to the men his wife was sleeping with rather than him. Also his speech was Kayne level bizarre. Love... okay. Keep in mind this is the couple that built a school for underprivileged kids that was a cover for Scientology.

Was the joke okay? - No (wasn't even a good joke) Was the slap okay? - HELL NO

I don't think that slapping Chris Rock was necessarily the best way to deal with that situation, although it's undeniably spreading more awareness than if Will and Jada just had a casual interview after the show was over. Regardless of Will's actions and weird speech, it's clearly also tasteless for Chris Rock to make fun of someone for having an autoimmune medical condition. That was a really fucked up joke, arguably paralleling that time when Trump made fun of a reporter for having a physical disability. Obviously, Chris Rock isn't running for president, but I would hope that even edgy comedians have some lines they wouldn't cross.
Edit: I think we can all agree that when it comes to defending your spouse's honor, we should probably act somewhere in between how Ted Cruz acts and how Will Smith acts.

The joke is fine, almost any joke is, but i don't mind his reaction either. cmon, a little slap between grown men isn't "violence" imo. Is it the smartest and best reaction? hell no. but i hate society overplaying everything lately. not much happened... maybe i'm just too boomer though.
