For the past three weeks I have been watching japanese dramas. A large quantity of dramas. Now that I've exhausted most of the top 20 I wanna break into korean dramas. How are they, where do I download them (no streaming or torrents unfortunately I want to save/burn them and the isp is quite adamant about torrent restrictions) and for the people who have experience how does the quality compare to japanese/chinese dramas?
-------
I use d-addicts fairly often, however the groups they list lead to torrents which I can't do. Some groups have irc channels, but no bots.
I guess I'll use streaming to try them out, but the quality of the stream kind of detracts from my viewing pleasure.
Korean dramas are not as numerous as Japanese dramas and as repetative as Chinese(Mainly TVB and Taiwan for me) ones. Trying d-addicts and their wiki site, its a good start.

Quality of KDramas I have to say is quite superior to Chinese and Japanese dramas. You can clearly see that in most dramas, the producers actually care about as to how it looks to the general public. The acting might not be the best, but hell, it looks good. Superior to that of Chinese and Japanese dramas.
However, I don't know where to DL them. I typically just watch em through streams.

I totally concur, even though my cousins watch those Taiwanese low-rated high-school romance type dramas all the time.
As a Chinese person who grew up with Chinese dramas and Japanese anime then tried to watch J-dramas and K-dramas, I'd have to say the popular K-dramas are VASTLY VASTLY better than both C and J dramas. The acting is just far superior, plotting and dialogue as well. Somehow, S. Korea just built a pretty amazing entertainment industry out of thin air. Props to them. China needs to step up their game and Japanese people are just too odd culturally I think to pull off acting in the way I'm used to as an American.

I'd have to agree with this statement. After watching the big Korean dramas, you can tell that they put their time and money into making these things good. The way the drama looks, the set, the dialogue, and other things worth noting are simply superior to Chinese dramas, which look really cheaply made half the time. While the acting might be lacking in some areas, it's a lot better to look at, which definitely enhances the viewing experience.
I've been meaning to start K-dramas. Just haven't had the time (lol not really). I know this will be the best Kdrama ever and I want to watch it SOOOOOOOOOOO badly just because of this single screen cap. It's called "I'm sorry, I love you". Someone want to enlighten me if this drama is good or not? Without spoilers of course =]

Silent Regrets Dramas Its down right now, have to adjust to the increase site traffic.
They have many older dramas, mostly on Megaupload. Of course not limited to just Kdrama. HTTP or FTP for 1080p quality is rape, even for torrents sometimes I dont even bother.
