Hi,
There is a special challenge that Blizzzard made for all Diablo 4 hardcore players:

I wander if the SC and SC2 pro-players will make some parties, will other players have a chance against them?

Against Byun, Raynor, Dark + Inno or Maru, herO, Serral, Rougue will Wudijo and others be a match?

PS: If D4 will be any good, I would like to see some SC pro-players matches!

This headline is misleading. If you say "to take" the challenge, it implies they announced they would do it. Instead you're just speculating.

Why would SC2 or BW pro play Diablo 4 as anything but a hobby? This just doen't make any sense at all

Nobody but ARPG vets is realistically going to be able to hit the ground running and pull this off.

It’s like saying ‘Which Fortnite pros are going to be dominating the ladder when Stormgate launches?’ They’re very skilled gamers but it’s going to be the RTS vets making the initial waves.

It’s a pretty cool initiative though, I dig it.

If anything though I’d wish they set the limit a little higher. Nobody I know, even big Diablo fans are going to shoot for it. Maybe the top 1k which is your ARPG fanatics and streamers, with some kinda minor award like a skin for the next 9k coulda been cool

I remember reading about a reset level 100 race for Diablo 2. There was an impressive amount of planning and team work involved! Yes, you need to be very experienced at ARPG powerleveling to come anywhere close.

Looks like Carn won the world first lvl 100 hc race. No surprise here, he's a good Path of Exile racer, even if not the best. He is playing insane amounts, which helps. He made a lvl 100 SSFHC in 36h with no sleep in PoE as well.

SC2 gamers might know him, french dude that played in Korea for a while, even if not very successful.
