Tower of Fantasy is a Genshin Impact-inspired 3rd-person MMORPG with gacha mechanics, with a Sci-Fi skin and a whole lot more customisation. I pre-registered with some new, made-up gmail account and will try it out tomorrow. Not sure how time-consuming it will be, but it doesn't fill me with hope. These types of games are inherently predatory and essentially reskinning Genshin and making it into an MMO just raises red flags for me. MMOs are inherently grindy to keep the player invested for as long as possible and on top of that putting a gacha spin on it just makes me think it'll be even more heavily monetized than both your average MMO and your average gacha combined. For my MMO needs I have Final Fantasy 14 and for gacha I have Genshin... this game will have to really wow me to get me to play it for longer than ~2-3 weeks. FF14 is good for socializing and is a great MMO and Genshin is nice for 15/30 minute play sessions on a daily basis... dunno how you can marry those 2 together. available on Android, iOS and PC. | ||
