I got one from Amazon on Wednesday.
I subscribed to several PS5 Radars on Twitter and tried to get one since January.
It really boggles my mind that it is still so hard to get one.

I tried to get one when it released for 2 month but couldn't. Then I thought they just don't want my money and moved on

Maybe I'll try again with PS6

When I set my sights on a PS5 I subscribed to a Twitter feed and a Telegram thread specifically for PS5 drops in Belgium.
Got one within a week.
These feeds/threads must exist for each country. I imagine the PS5 radar iXphobos mentions is something similar.
All you gotta do is put notifications on, make sure you already have an account at bol.com or amazon or whichever the equivalent in your country is, and wait.

So my PS5 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow but I don't know what it is waiting on, my PlayStation headset has shipped as well and should be here tomorrow as well. No idea if one is waiting for the other to be delivered all at once....

Depends on where in the city it is and when it got to the warehouse. The drivers usually only take that day's deliveries if it gets there by a certain time and is put in the correct place for shipping. If it isn't, then it's moved to the side for the next day. You could get them together or you could get 2 separate deliveries. Perfectly normal.

Dunno what games you ordered with the PS5 but I can recommend Horizon: Forbidden West.
Get the first game first if you haven't played it yet though. Two amazing games, 10/10.

I gotta recommend Ratchet and Clank or Astro's Playroom right off the bat to learn just how amazing the controller is. After that, def get Horizon, Miles Morales, Cyberpunk (if that's your thing), and then just wait for more lol.

I haven't tried it yet. I hear a lot of it is really straightforward though. Isn't it just backing up everything to the cloud and then redownloading it to your new system? Let us know how it goes.

Did you get a bundle or a plain system? Disc or digital?

Well the PS4/PS5 transfer did not work even though both were on. Had to redownload Ghost of Tsushima, FF7 Remake, and The Division 2. Thankfully my Div 2 stuff is online so it was saved. No idea about ff7 Remake; though I fear the worst, Ghost of Tsushima is also at zero. Those are two long ass games to restart.

Is there a way to silence the PS5 voice. I can read i don't need her announcing everything.

What voice? I have never had a voice come through my system. Maybe it's a notification setting? That's a new one to me (also haven't started the console after the latest update).

If you backed up your save files to the cloud, you should be able to get those back once the games are restarted. You'd have to reinstall the games regardless though. Maybe someone else had more information for you here than I do.

Launch the game on PS4, back up the games to the cloud, then download the saves from the cloud on your PS5, should be possible.

I've also never heard a voice

Am I taking crazy pills?! Every patch that finishes downloading it announces it, every game that you go over it says the title. Even settings etc.

Yeah man. That has literally never happened to me and I have my PS5 hooked up to a surround sound system lol. Guess those early adopter bundles had that setting off my default.
