I struggle to see how they would do that tbh. Ban every single google account that was logged in from Europe? What about the Australians that are here on a holiday?  There is no connection between your credentials for the game (google account), and your apple ID, so good luck finding the "right" people to ban. | ||

I'm a little confused by the candy though, people are saying it's by type. But I have a Sparrow and Pidgey, yet their candy amounts are not the same. Anyone knows what's up? | ||

Pro-tip: Don't evolve your pidgeys into a pidgeotto, just wait until you catch one and save candies for pidgeot. Unless you get tons of pidgeys ofc. | ||

Today I went to the inner city and instantly got pokemon shown in the "nearby" - display. Could even catch some! So there seem to exist some areas where there are just no encounter even though there are pokestops nearby. Maybe it has something to do with data usage in the area(although that wouldn't make much sense in my case) but it sure is wonky. Especially because there are for example also no encounters around the university I attend (around 20.000 students). Conclusion: If you live in a big city have fun. If you have the same problem as me though AND you life in a more rural area or small city... you're fucked. | ||
