are they really that OP? i couldnt get into this game, the UI is very clunky with the mouse rotation
Well i'm IP blocked so I can't tell you about how many of each class there are on NA servers but I played the chinese version for a while and can tell you right now that's extremely incorrect information. All classes get extremely "agile" when you get to a higher level, and all classes are competetive.
In fact paladins (Clerics) are not even the most represented class at high levels in pvp, mercenaries (Warrior) and force users (Sorceress) are more popular. But all classes can compete if you are good.
This game has an extremely high skill cap in pvp, do not listen to people saying anything different.
A good video showing a merc vs paladin. Mercenaries are the "slowest" class in game.
Empowerment points are given daily. Each time you enter a dungeon above a certain level, you will use your empowerment points to gain bonus experience points.
Once your empowerment points are used up, you will have to wait until the next day to receive new points. However, you may continue to explore dungeons for standard experience point awards.

in addition to perhaps why so many clerics and sorcerors were seen for certain individuals up until level 9 clerics and sorceresses are only able to accesss channels with clerics and sorcerresses same to be said with warriors and archers.
at this changes at level 9 (approximately) when a main town like object is available and now it seems the classes are pretty well spread
I played it for about 20 minutes last night, It seemed clunky, I didn't really enjoy it, But I'm not one to judge a game by 20 minutes I'll give it another shot sometime, I had to go to bed for work other wise I would've played it a bit longer. I'm not actually a fan of Gender locks on classes, It took me forever to find a name for my Archer I didn't even choose a name I really liked -.-'. The skills seem 'Cookie Cutter' and simple, But then again I haven't got my first class change so can't say much about it, I did like the cut scene at the opening and the Npcs are quite enjoyable except for Scrooge, Hes one hell of an ugly man. But the friendship lady in the middle of the town (Her name eludes me) was so adorable. Weird I know. There was a wee bit of lag when playing USEast but it could've been my internet lagging around. I don't know how the party system works didn't have enough time to try it. But if anyone wants to play on USEast I'd be glad to play. If you add by character name(I'm not sure.) Mines PrincessAmar I'm only like lvl 2-4. So if anyone wants to play hit me up . Also I didn't actually hear music while playing, Did anyone else have this problem? I had one crash while going to the 2nd Instance
So I can't stand the english voice acting. I found this Japanese voice pack and it makes things much more enjoyable. just extract the files and put them in the dragon nest folder. No need to overwrite or delete anything.
hope that link works! sometimes it takes a bit to load. voice pack dl
