So, i have some questions I was hoping you guys could help me answer about saturn emulation and sf3. First I just really wanna recommend this game though. Especially if you've played previous games such as shining in darkness, sf1, sf2 and shining the holy ark etc. If you haven't, but you're interested sf2 is very good as well. Check out shiningforcecentral.com for info on all the games (there's a ton^^) in the series. And there's also a letsplay for sf3. youtube.com/totalhalibut and an accompanying somethingawful thread. So have a look there if you're curious.
Anyways, about sf3 specifically. It's a turn based strategy game. Yes, the graphics are awful and the voice acting even worse... but i swear, even that grows on you. I really like the story and there are so many secret things and cool stuff to do. The game is split into scenario 1,2,3 and a premium disc. Your choices in scenario 1 will affect your gameplay in later scenarios, despite playing with different characters. I.e. if you let an enemy live in scenario 1 he might come back to help you or pester you further in a later scenario. As far as i know only the first scenario was released outside of japan (although as far as i can tell, there are fan translations into english). And herein lies my problem....
I just replayed the first scenario on a saturn emulator (SSF emu) since i discovered my saturn is actually broken. Guess i can't blame it.. getting pretty old. But now i wanna play the rest of the scenarios. I got a hold of the roms, but can't seem to get them to work. So...
1) How do i get scenario 2 & 3 + the premium disc working? 2) How do i use my save game from beating #1 to start #2 (in order to get the effect of things i did in s1 while playing s2)
As i said, i already got scenario1 working, just need help with the further ones and how to get the sync points (utilizing save game from s1 in s2) working. I tried using different bios'es, us, europe, japan. Nothing seems to work :\
I'd really appriciate some help, and even if you can't help. Check out sf2 and 3. Both excellent games. Shining in the darkness is the first game in the series, but it's a dungeon crawler... if you played it back in the day try shining the holy ark. Same thing pretty much^^ NOSTALGIA!!

I used to use SSF years ago. Saturn emulation is not optimized in the least. There are many, many games which fail to run, crash, run extremely slowly, or have any number of problems. The compatibility is very low because of the complexity of the Saturn hardware (if you read the specs on it, it's really a trainwreck). You should feel fortunate that you even got S1 working, but shouldn't expect that S2 and S3 would work.

^ wrong S2, S3 makes no difference compatibility wise. Your saves carry over when you finish the game, and make a completed save file. Load up S2.iso and continue off Scenario 1 Completed Save. I already beat all 3 inc premium disc using SSF and my computer inst even near top of the line.
I get 50-60 FPS AMD64 2600 mhz single core 2gb RAM PC3200 Nvidia 7800 GTX 256mb

Yeah, s1 worked fine... but hmmmz. Ok, so what kinda bios and other settings in SSF did you use ZoDD? I seriously can't get them loaded up:\

USA.BIN Vsync off everything else untouched
I use latest SSF but some other people have issues with that one and have to use older versions.
