I think he'll have the most difficulty adjusting to the ZvP matchup (and his current record shows that as well, with 0-3 start against SC2 Protoss). I never was that good in BW, but I believe that matchup compared to ZvT and ZvZ plays out the most differently in SC2. He has a ton of knowledge to absorb there on protoss timings and what information gives them away. I'm sure he'll pick it up with more time to dedicate to SC2.

Updated OP with record including the recent protoss games: loss vs Hero in WR (0-2), loss vs Bisu (0-1), then loss vs Hero in LR (0-2), giving him 5 additional ZvP losses, bringing him down to 0-8

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=360503 Effort is currently only at 35%. As the last zerg OSL champion ever, ace player, proleague/winner's league and overall monster (he had a 25-3 run once 09.04.19 - 09.06.15, and a 18-2 run in 10.04.18 - 10.06.02 as he won the OSL with the only 2 losses there being to flash in the finals) deserves a bump. In addition, with Zero sitting at 61% (supposed to have 60% approval) there is a chance the only modern zerg to be inducted into the hall of fame could be Jaedong--who obviously is in. Effort has had a strong career, with 60% regular season win rate and 61% in Proleague regular season (from the stats on that voting page). In addition, that monster 2009 run got him rookie of the year honors (even though he debuted at very end of 2008 proleague) In addition, CJ fans need to support their strong zerg line that for obvious reasons excludes He-who-must-not-be-named, but also includes the 2008-2009 CJ player and osl semifinalist GGplay (only sitting at 43%). Don't just let GGplay and Effort, who are the last OSL zerg champions (excluding jaedong) except for a flukeish run by JulyZerg, be so down in the polls! Also support Iris, the CJ captain--who also denied effort a chance at GOM classic championship by knocking him out in the semifinals! Effort went on to take third. Whether you are a starcraft 2 recent fan of his, a new bw fan, or an oldie around for all of effort's career, support him!

He plays later tonight in the SPL: CJ vs Woongjin Stars herO[jOin] <Caldeum> fOKINS Hydra <Cloud Kingdom> Flying Bbyong <Antiga Shipyard> Neo.G_Soulkey EffOrt <Ohana> (P)sHy sKyHigh <Bifrost> ZerO SonGDuri <Arkanoid> hOn_sin Why did CJ decide to pit Eff0rt against a Protoss? And why on Ohana? Not even the best SC2 players can consistently defend the immortal sentry all-in, and I feel like he's going to fall to it similarly to JD.

Well the team doesnt know for sure they'd be hitting a Protoss. But yeah you're right, with Ohana the odds are pretty good. >_> But I believe !

I'm more curious about Songduri hitting the A-team, especially on a map where all of the other coaches sent out a terran... It makes me despair that horang2/leta/snow are all doing poorly in practice
