The basic rules are found on warhammer 40.000 miniatures battle and as for army rosters the ones from that link would be used. Exactly in the same way than when playing warhammer 40 000. Same goes for battle fleet gothic variant, the rules are found on battlefleet gothic rule book. This is mentioned in the first post. If you are new to miniature gaming i suggest you start by learning warhammer. If someone is interested, we could also invent new rules for starcraft miniatures battles creating a whole new game and impose them on blizzard. I am an expert on this kind of thing but i doubt the result would be as good as warhammer. I have some experience in this field and i do not know a better rule set for miniature games than warhammer and am in no mind of doing better myself. This is why i use warhammer rules as i do not know any better. In fantasy format i have altered the rules to my liking, which might not be the best for everyone. I prefer older rules that are converted to modern format as the newer format (above 6th edition) is better in terms of gameplay experience but the older rules have more "feel" around them. The fantasy rosters are going through update and some of them are older versions (Eliason books) which will be updated when i get to it again. There will also be a Star Wars variation and Naruto variation which are coming as well as new updates for fantasy books such as special characters and Vampire Coast. I am also seeking an individual to do a graphical layout on my rosters, in similar way than Eliason books which have been a source of inspiration. And if not, then someone who could help me to achieve this. I would want to do this at least on Malazan books. I have already some of the layouts thought out and have downloaded some pictures. I am also creating a new miniature game called Modular Wars, but it might never finish. Idea is that you build your ships from parts like legos. | ||
