As long as LGD aren't offended by it, it should be fine. We being fans can only assume or what not.

I have seen it in judo on olympics, the main difference is loosers bracket ends at bronze medal fight, there is no LB winner vs WB looser match or follow up "grand final" fight, there is WB final for gold/silver and LB final for bronze/4th and thats it, probably the fairest double elim. that's actually a pretty good solution

The insta-qq from so many is such a turn-off. Ever think you misunderstood the transaction? I'm not saying I would've said it, but I ain't Dendi, and I don't know the LGD team like he does, or any of the progamer drama either. None of us know just what that is supposed to mean, which is one reason it's bad form to do it on stream, but whatever. Chill out already.

Might as well do single elimination. It works for the Olympics because there is a bronze medal and single elimination is not the best regarding third place matches, but it doesn't make sense for tournaments that don't care about it. Noone would care about the losers bracket.

Both IG and LGD.int have proved that both can take the top (when they train ![]() DK, Orange, TongFu proved they can beat other top teams at Super League. LGD keep taking top 3 spots at the main tournaments. And Alliance + Navi showed how to take chinese after chinese team to take tournaments. So many contenders.

it is not a real double elimination. the main tournament (for gold and silver) is normal single elimination. but there is a side tournament, a so called "Repêchage" (that's the french word for it), where the losers get a second chance to fight for bronze. this side tournament also has no final, this is why there are 2 bronze medalists in these competitions. you can't really compare this to double elimination.
