From what little I have been watching the strategy Liquid have with Boxi on Nature's Prophet seems very strong. Both games I've seen have had dominating performances.

GG vs Talon was a good series. Agreed on that. This format does not promote good series in this stage. It is designed to put good vs "mediocre" teams against each other. Honestly think it could be skipped and just run the first elimination stage here instead (in arena I guess).

This second stage kind of feels like they just wanted a little more games between teams of different groups before they get eliminated.

The GG Talon series is a little bit of luck too, Talon was really only in this position because they had a really bad Day 1 and there's no tiebreaker games between the second and third place group.

It's basically playing the first round of the upper bracket online instead of in arena. You'd expect seeding at that stage to have mostly good versus mediocre teams as well. No eliminations because there is a lower bracket, but maybe you want to play the first round of lowers and send some people home before they arrive.

Just watched the Entity vs Azure Ray series. That was interesting. The mid impact was massively different. Especially second game when it was 3vs1 in mid for a while.
