I think it's so hard to win with everyone aiming to beat you. They are certainly favorites to win, but I don't think they will do it. Let's see how they look in the bracket stage of this major first anyhow.

to put into perspective, theres quite a possibility that there will be only 1 chinese team qualifying via DPC points. I guess in a way having 2 qualified SA teams can be argued to work as intended, as no other SA team is even close to having made it via DPC points, however that means a third SA team will also make it to TI, and after previous Results its quite hard to argue for 3 SA teams at TI, but this system kinda forces it, and punishes the more competitive Regions, like China.

I agree that the lack of Chinese teams qualified is pretty absurd. I think the reason is because the first major was cancelled and then China didn't attend the second one. The number of SA teams seems about right, it was the same last year (two qualified), just there were 4 chinese teams qualified because they could attend the majors.

At this point the US immigration office has over ten years of experience dealing with these kinds of visitors and theyr still denying worker visa applications for like one week stays. Pretty ridiculous. For this one it was mostly Russian nationals denied visas, which makes sense
