After announcing team FXOpen e-Sports in December of 2010 the roster has continued to grow, many FXOpen events have run, and many announcements have been made. Now, finally, a full roster for the team has been reached for tournament and practice purposes. Some players are tried and true veterans on StarCraft 2, winning events since as early as beta, while some players are people who have proven their worth in practice or put in the hard work to be a future superstar. Support FXO and follow our players SLoG, QXC, mOoNan, Sheth and OpTiKzErO at MLG Dallas!
The New Players
Kevin “FXOqxc” Riley – QXC's list of StarCraft 2 achievements is so comprehensive that it is hard to summarise in one paragraph. One glance at his Liquipedia page confirms that he comes with a SC2 resume rivalled by very few players, and for a relatively unknown BW player this American Terran was hard to go past when filling out the roster. Most recently you can catch him the TSL3.
Andrew “FXOSLoG” An – The second Korean-turn-American From NYC to join FXO is well known BW player SLoG. He played BW in the [pG] ex pro team and featured in the WCG USA finals on several occasions. Aside from his impressive Brood War resume, SLoG was picked up by the team as a hard worker with a lot of potential. While SLoG had to put an end to his progaming career during highschool he is coming back to SC2 to achieve his dream of playing StarCraft professionally at the highest level.
Daryl ” FXOiceiceice” Koh Pei Xiang – Once a DotA player, iceiceice was a prominent figure in the Singaporean, Asian, and Global scene and won many tournaments. Notable events in DotA that iceiceice won are ESWC Paris and CAPL, amongst many others. After switching to StarCraft 2 he was immediately recognised as one of the best Singaporean players and second best Zerg in SEA to mOOnGLaDe. Placing 2nd in the Blizzard SEA Invitational and securing a place in Blizzcon stands as his proudest SC2 moment. Despite shorter practice hours due to his enlistment, ice is back and terrorising the Singaporean StarCraft scene with a new found motivation to once again be the best.
Anthony “FXOAnthony” Accettone – Anthony used to play BW, achieving a B- high on iCCup, and was very active in the SC2 beta. He just got back into the game a couple of weeks ago with the drive to become one of the best competitive players.
Bradley “FXOtgun” Seymour – FXOtgun impressed FXOpen management from the start after putting in huge effort in every practice session, often practicing for 10 hours a day without having to be asked. Having previously played CS1.6 he never really got into the professional scene as he was too young to attend LANs at the time. However, the experience paid off as many of the skills used in calling and captaining competitive CS teams were carried over to his SC2 venture. While the Sydney-based Zerg has no breakout tournament results yet the improvement is there and with the ability to now attend LAN events he kicks off what will hopefully be a successful SC2 career with an appearance at the Sydney NRG LAN.
