he has beaten Reach (t v p), boxer ( T v T) and Oddessay but he got raped by some random zerg all the time, he did not even had a chance, T_T. Boxer had said control's t v is one of the world; best and all that, but i don;t get why he get owned by zerg >_<

His name should not be mentioned in the same breath as a celebrated player like ChRh. ChRh would RAPE Silent in 9 out of 10 games if they played in an actual tournament. Make no mistake about this. And please, do not give much weight to replays. The fact is, the replays you can easily find over the net mean NOTHING in terms of properly gauging the players' skills. Even if the reps aren't fake (which they are maybe 50% of the time), the players are often just playing for fun or trying out new strats they haven't perfected yet. I could find a rep of Boxer's MOM owning Boxer if I really wanted to. The ONLY reps that can possibly give you a more or less accurate picture of a player's true skill level are the ones from major tournaments with big-time prize money involved. Those are the ones where the players are playing to WIN. Which brings me to my next and final point: the replays from major tournaments in Korea (besides WCG) are generally NOT available to the public and will NOT be found on the net. The players and especially the respective pro teams guard them religiously precisely because they reveal EVERYTHING about what a player can really do. Find a replay of Silent owning Boxer in a real tournament, then we'll talk.

But i have add that once in a while he really display amazing potentials like in a game against Reach or themarine (it;s a vod @_@) Sometime his controls is even better than boxer's, if you see dropship wars between these two. I know any talented player could have a chance to beat a boxer once in a while (like when boxer is sleeping or picking his nose while playing, jk), and that we should not judge the player just on basis of a causal game. It seems like there many good korea players that could very well be in top 3: zodiac, control, iloveo.ov....to name a few, but these names are absent on list of korean wcg prelim. I wonder why these ppl dont even try out (besides maybe they are not as great as boxer or next runnerups)

I don;t think these reps were fake @_@ and i don;t think themarine and boxer were too busy picking their noses while getting beat on by eagle. @_@

iloveo.O: I'm sure all the players you mentioned have tried out for Korea WCG. From what I know the Korea WCG was open to all Korean players, amatures and pros alike. They had a qualifying ladder with hundreds of players. Only the top 16 from the open ladder played in the finals to select the 3 who would represent Korea.

St. Eagle is indeed a kick-ass player (often credited by his Korean peers for "inventing" metal terran style) and even finished top 8 in last yeat's SKY 2001 OGN tourney, beating Grrr and Asmodey on the way. I believe he's retired now and that's why you don't see him. Oh, and one more thing on replays: the replays you find on this site are top quality and 100% genuine. Honest and the other members of Liquid do an excellent job of collecting only what's best and real. Download with trust!

The kpga replays you can find on the net is real, right? I guessed they were from the preelim for kpga (tour?) or something?

I guess it depends on the replays. As Nazgul mentioned, there are a few very, very old reps available from the kpga - but those are reps that got out prior to all the major tournaments instituting a no replay publication policy. Any rep purporting to be from a major within the past, say, 1yr 1/2 - 2yrs, is 99% likely to be fake (I leave 1% open simply because reps are still saved by the players and/or the respective tournament organizers, so it's possible for them to leak out somehow - but extremely unlikely.). Hope this helps.
